kind of fun but too many requirements for tourists and no matter where i place buildings (even by docks/trains) they only go to there and camps/inns then leave. 1 space often makes them "too far" on paths /docks and should be changed. also the medals are infuriatingly lacking, time requirement too high (7min for 1 not on menu or exploring) and so are the upgrades that ALWAYS REQUIRES THEM! edit cuz medals a time restricted and maxed at 10. horrible system

The game itself is pretty great, but my biggest problem for this game (and some others) is the lack of save transfer. It's such a basic feature that a paid game like this should have. You can't transfer your save from the normal beastie bay to this one, so why bother getting this version if you have to start over

Very grindy and slow medal drip, you require medals for everything important and it takes far too long to get them. The original BB they were a pay to play item and ruined it, DX gives the player a tiny drip of them but it isn't enough especially mid game where you need a lot and by late game you have to build a medal farming area with high level nature and monsters with high work stats just to progress. Zones are heavy element based which means you need to grind out a team of every element.

I suck at the Japanese red & white ball game & I suck at this too it seems. Encourages you to 'bait' beasts but the bait isn't good enough for the decent ones. The only other way is leave it open for ages to earn idle medals. Fights are slow and it's a lot of tapping and waiting. Might try again but after a team of Level 11 of the only beasts I could get are pitched against two Level 6 birds and we get wiped for a third damn time, that's kinda me done.

I liked the game and the little difference from Beastie Bay because it doesn't have in-app purchase, I still don't understand how to unlock the Mysterious Ship though. It can be replayed to try and do better and it has about 5 hours of gameplay, a bit grindy for some people. For those who are playing I recommend buying the "Fast mode" at Wario Inc. as fast as possible.

Great time killer, definitely like the normal mode of the game. Only reason I didn't 5 star is because there's a hard mode in the game. So when you beat the game normally, they introduce a hard mode new game. I was pretty interested at first, but now not anymore. I can't even invest any Islands because they made hard mode borderline impossible without spending months grinding medals in hopes to get a lucky monster at the agency. and I still don't help that monsters 20 levels below you are too OP

I'm rating it 5, so my review won't be hidden. Fun and cute game to play if not for one MAJOR ISSUE. A high-end or 12 token course at the agency SHOULDN'T show monsters below 3 stars, trashy items such as paper cloaks, and low intelligence. It's really insulting to see your time and effort be rewarded with trashy options. Not to mention that this is a PAID dx version of the free game. Aside from that, it suffers from minor grammar issues such as "Puddler Awas deafed" sentences.

When I finally, finally saved up enough medals to buy the good "ally" from the $-#+$ bear, I got a necklace I've literally sold for 3g before. -4 stars for false advertising. Also, I just had 2 of my 3 allies wiped before I could even attack once because they got a surprise attack and it happened to be a boss. A boss shouldn't get a cheap shot before the fight starts.

Slow to get medals, & you should be able to claim more without restarting the game. The building combo system is neat and adds an element of strategy to setting up your town; the first 5 years in-game passes far too quickly when focused on this. Nice amount of depth and plenty of monsters, just progression is slower than your average Kairosoft game (which isn't entirely a bad thing!). A few EN text errors too, such as a lack of space in the attack message during battle, but nothing gamebreaking.

Kairosoft doesn't disappoint again as I move through their extensive catalog. This one is especially great & has lots to do, and the set up is a bit different than their other games and incorporates town-building with a turn-based pokémon aspect of recruiting animals. Lots to do & unlock with a good amount of depth. Well done guys. Medals are hard to come by however, that aspect feels unbalanced especially as you progress and things cost 20+ medals to upgrade. Still I'm enjoying every minute.

Honestly, this is great. Definitely some things that could be improved, but for what it is, it's great. I wish there was an option to move structures after you build them but maybe it's something I unlock later on. I'd like to clean up my build as it's super messy but it works.
