Story: A chance encounter amid the festivities of Guardia's Millennial Fair in Leene Square introduces our young hero, Crono, to a girl by the name of Marle. Deciding to explore the fair together, the two soon find themselves at an exhibition of the Telepod, the latest invention by Crono's longtime friend Lucca. Marle, fearless and brimming with curiosity, volunteers to assist in a demonstration. An unanticipated malfunction, however, sends her hurtling through a rift in the dimensions. Taking hold of the girl's pendant, Crono bravely follows in pursuit. But the world into which he emerges is the one of four centuries before. Journey to the forgotten past, the distant future, and even to the very End of Time. The epic quest to save a planet's future makes history once again. Key features: Active Time Battle Version 2 During battle, time will not stop, and you can enter commands when the character's gauge is full. The enemies' positions will change as time passes, so choose your actions based on any given situation. ‘Tech’ moves and combos During battle, you can unleash special ‘Tech’ moves, including abilities and/or magic and characters can combine these abilities to unleash all new combo attacks which are unique to them. There are over 50 different types of combos that you can execute between two and three characters! Experience the 'Dimensional Vortex' and the 'Lost Sanctum' dungeons The Dimensional Vortex: a mysterious, ever-changing dungeon existing outside of space and time. What wonders await you at its center? The Lost Sanctum: enigmatic gates in prehistoric and medieval times will lead you to these forgotten chambers. Meet the challenges presented to you and long-lost secrets may be revealed... Graphics and sound While keeping the atmosphere of the original, the graphics have been updated in higher resolution. As for the sound and music, under the supervision of composer Yasunori Mitsuda, all songs have been updated for an even more immersive gameplay experience. Autosave In addition to saving at a save point or choosing to quit from the menu, your progress is saved automatically while traversing the map.

there's random crashes playing constanrly in a certain duration of time in any battery percentage. The bookmarks of resuming doesn’t bring you back to the farthest save. The only thing you can do is manually save it but there sometimes long areas where yiy can't save it. A game like this should be free until these bugs are fixed it's like you are forced to play part of the game with forcibly stopping like a demo.

If you're looking for the real definition of turned based RPG this is one of them. and if you enjoy this classic you can get a modern version of this play style by getting sea of stars. they need to give achievements to more of the older games they put on mobile

This is a definitive way to play this game. I've been looking to play this game for awhile now, I first tried to play the PSOne version on my PS Vita, but after some research I heard that the DS version wad the best, plus it had significantly less loading times. Since I don't have a DS, I got this one, and my word it looks way better than I anticipated. I'm playing on a Red Magic 10 Pro and this game looks so crispy on it vice playing the PSOne version on my vita. So glad I bought this!

The GOAT. Glazing aside, I transferred (via Smart Transfer) all of my apps, settings and data over to the S26 Ultra and my save data was erased and the cloud backup completely failed me. All of my progress .. HOURS and HOURS of gaming are gone.

Controls can be clunky at times, but it doesn't stop you to beat the game or do anything. For the rest, it's as good as the original. Also, I NEVER had a black screen so I assume the people who encounter it have old devices, because it works flawlessly on a S25 Ultra.

this is a amazing port of chrono trigger this adds the ds features too the game sometimes bugs out but its extremely rare for 5 bucks its a must buy to play this wonderful classic on the go if you don't have a ds or the game for the ds the only problem is the graphics are a bit blurry but I don't mind

Downloads data all the time, so you have to be online all the time. Force closes when you turn off the screen. Plus, it lacks the extra content, like the music player from the DS version. Edit: These were fixed, though it took forever, so now this game can get the rating it deserves.

Chrono Trigger port? On mobile? Is it worth the price? Is it smooth and not buggy? Doest it bring on the nostalgia for returning players? Does it entertain the players who have not had the pleasure of playing this amazing game before? ABSOLUTELY 100% yes to all of these. Chrono Trigger is an rpg, it has an awesome and loveable cast, a great storyline, unique gameplay and beautiful graphics!!!!! If you have not played this game or it has just been a while, do yourself a favor and get this!!!!

I owned and played the original on Snes, I then had a emulated version on PC, then I bought the DS version and loved it even more. This mobile version is by far the best of the best. Hands down, this is the best 13$ I've spent in my life along with FF7 mobile.

Not worth Money Has a bunch of bugs, support is useless, can't save Lucca's Mom, password doesn't work. Disappointing finding another scam, using one of my favorite games, for shame... can't even open it now..

Bug is making the game hard to play. Retroid Pocket 2+, android 9. In MANY scripted scenes (Magus' battle being a key one), text stops mid displaying for a second then goes super fast, closing before you can read it. Appers the pacing for text closure is off. Years later bug remains on retroid pocket 4 pro and pixel 7, 9 and 10 pro

I've loved Chrono Trigger since it released in 95 and the app works perfectly on my Android. I cherish the score but would still like volume options. I also want accuracy tabs and evasion tabs, maybe for charming enemies on the Lost Sanctum mountain so that grind is more satisfying. It would also be nice to get ultimate armor for unlocking all endings.

this game is so great, but annoying that it bugs out as much as it does and I have to redo things I have already done. would be 5 stars if I didnt have to restart game frequently.

I love the same but I have stopped playing because this game absolutely drains my battery like no other. I can only get my phone to maintain it charge battery while playing if I use my laptop charger. I do not understand the heavy battery usage this game produces for having SNES graphics.

the cursor memory for battling does not work in this app the actual Chrono trigger game had a function where if you placed cursor memory to the right setting it would remember every previous action you had made but by default if you Auto Battle or if you set your cursor memory correctly every attack is a basic default attack I want my money back
