Clever 4Ever

I'm so glad these games are on mobile! Once I learned the games, I needed to practice more, and affirm all the rules in my mind. Playing again and again against the computer has helped! While I can appreciate the markets of the game, I wish there were all English versions of the apps. (All the Clever games)

great little puzzle game, the advanced version of ganz schon clever. I like the alternate version for just a couple of quid more too. Don't know why they didn't include multiplayer though, as it would work well and let you complete vs a friend

Fun and challenging game

I am enjoying the game and my points are increasing as I get a better understanding of how to take advantage of the many options. The rules per se are easy, but there are so many different ones that it takes a while to figure out how it all works. An undo button would definitely help in the beginning phase since I had to start over many times just because I hadn’t figured out the UI and sequence of events. It also would be helpful to embed a link to the official online YT video in the app.

Good app missing two critical features

This app would be an easy 5 star rating were it not missing two features: 1. An undo button. The number of times a good run is ruined because a box was clicked inadvertently is very frustrating. 2. The ability to add friends and play games with them online via the app. We’ve shared and played these games with many family members and friends but we don’t all live in the same state. This feature would let us get much more use out of the app and I would happily pay more for its implementation.

Lots of fun

Overall, I really enjoy playing this edition. I love the idea of an undo suggested by another reviewer. The boxes are small on my phone, making it easy to select an adjacent one in error. The roll button caches presses so if you accidentally double press it will roll twice. Thanks to a Board Game Geek for writing thorough instructions! I couldn’t figure out how to earn great foxes.

A shame it's fixed. Almost guaranteed to get 6 middle numbers most throws. This is useful on the other clever games but on not on this. I restart this game loads before I get a dice roll that looks completely random. Still addictive though! A suggestion for those that mention the game has no undo button. Get a screen pen. I got 10 for £2.99 on ebay.

This is pretty cool!

Clever 4 Ever is a game that I first noticed a few months back in the board game section when purchasing Viticulture. I kept coming back to the board game section because this game for some reason aroused my curiosity to play. Anyhow, I end up purchasing and playing it for a week and have to say, I really like it! After a few YouTube video tutorials and constantly playing and learning the game, I completely understand how to play it. 😀 After playing the digital version, I now plan on buying the physical version so I can play with friends and family. Great game, thanks! 👍🏾

As ever, a brilliant port of the roll and write game. HOWEVER, two massive flaws. Firstly, this is the fourth in this series and there's still no multiplayer? It surely wouldn't be that hard to add. Secondly, there's STILL NO UNDO BUTTON! And when you're playing on a phone screen and have fat fingers it's very easy to tap the wrong box - particularly on this version on the green track where you have to tap the half of the box you want, or the grey section which has teeny tiny boxes!
