cytus 2 has changed my life and it pains me to see it only having a score of 4.0 outta 5. Paff, Vanessa and Ivy are so deep within my hearts and the music opened my soul. I only felt this way with the music from Arcaea and truly, those two games are perfect in my eyes. So beautifully written and the music is perfect for my tastes. I am sooo excited for the switch 2 release!! <3 I love you, Rayark.

One of my favorite games. I loved the first game so I got the second and this one is 100x better. It prompted me to leave a review so I'll just edit mine 3 years later. Still one of my favorite games even tho I play it off and on. It's the only rhythm game I enjoy. No matter how many years pass this game will always be in my heart

Quite too many unskippable cutscene and the DLC is unnecessary.. but like. most of the story got lock behind Payment.

It's very disappointing how the game keeps trying to force you to buy more stuff because it's unrealistic for me to buy a game and tries to sell me more things or the game will just be plain. If I buy a game I expect the game to give me full access and a small part for DLCs, not make most of it stuff they wanna sell me. Also, the songs aren't as good as the game before tbh. Extremely disappointing.

Good game. The paywall sucks. I would legit prefer ads instead of having to pay fr it. Maybe have players buy the characters with the capsules. Just put it as a high amount of capsules. so players would have to grind and play more to get.

I've just played a song and it was very good, I'm playing this just to try news things and new songs, new system except Project Sekai. As I saw that you both are on a collab, I was hyped to see there's 5 songs I liked, except VBS's song. (not meant to hate). As I check to play Lower (ロウワー), it actually costs money, so where is the definition of "collab" went? I hope the game developers can see this and reply, agree or disagree, please leave a comment, if possible.

I've played this game purely F2P since its release. It's a really good rhythm game, and it also has a story you can follow as you progress. Although the storytelling comprises of 90% text, they try to compensate for that with sound cues, images, and videos. Not only that, it also changes its title screen whenever you hit a major plot point. However, as many others have pointed out, what sets the game back is the fact you have to pay for some of the characters. Even so, it's worth a try.

i used to like Cytus II it's a great music but lately it has become a micro transaction game. I recently made a purchase of Kizuna Ai pack only to discover i didn't get all the songs. Immediately i tried to request for a refund but got rejected even though I haven't played any Kizuna Ai songs. This is such a SCAM!!!

Cytus 1 and 2 are both the best rhythm games I've ever played. the difficulty is hard enough that it can get insanely hard but still gives you the feeling that you can beat it with a few more tries. makes it very hard to put em down. some of the best vibes and the timing is perfect on the games too. love em

The company's scummy decisions and decision to lock half the game behind paying aside... I finished a song and the game crashed. Twice. Oh, and it crashed during the tutorial.

Don't get me wrong, it's an absolutely amazing game and I would give it a higher review, but I have two nitpicks: the game crashes on android occasionally and it's really annoying. Devs fix it PLEASE. And also, it's just...so expensive. Each extra character is like $10 and then there's song packs and you have to pay $10 just to gamble...it's ridiculous. You could stand to at least offer a discounted edition with everything for like $100.
