50 of 50 loaded reviews
was great until my progress disappeared after 50 hours of play time.....even though it's claimed to be backed up in the cloud...now my only save thing to load is back at the prologue...not impressed with that edit- I was able to get my game state back I'm not sure what happened or why.... definitely will be sure to push my saves to cloud since they are not automatic? I'm not sure.
- Ivan · v1.1.5
it's a dragon quest game, what's not to like? Seems the directional controls on this one are better than DQ V
- Ryan Sweeney · v1.1.5
Great classic turn based rpg im about 2 hours in and very much enjoying it
- Alex Emrick · v1.1.5
Better than V in my opinion ...
- Michael Medlen · v1.1.5
Fun Factor: 7 Overall Score: 79% Letter Rating: A While many claim this entry is the worst entry in the Zenithian Trilogy, I believe quite the contrary. This game combined the exploration and worldbuilding I loved about the fourth entry. On top of that, this game boasted a deep progression system and an intriguing story, both of which rival the progression and story of the fifth entry. While it was lacking in the emotional resonance of the fifth game, the story was far more grand and epic.
- Brighton Nelson · v1.1.3
90 hours in to get the secret ending 👍
- Fiasse est · v1.1.5
I'm in the beginning of the game, and chest items sometimes do not appear on the inventory, and during the bazaar shops I would buy things like the leather shield, and they take my money and no item in return. I cleared my cache, restarted my phone, tried everything to see if the items appear- nothing. This is very upsetting..
- Stormi Rockwell · v1.1.5
bugged - you cannot get off the boat once you have it in this current build.
- Christopher Panetta · v1.1.4

- Eulivere · v1.1.3
This game absolutely delivers! A solid entry right here! Very smooth as well. I havnt encountered any notable issues! The controls work for what they are. It's a mobile and it gets the job done. Nostalgia at my fingertips. Great Job!!!
- Kasey Carvey · v1.1.3
How is there no way to mute the game without muteing the phone as a whole? Even on the lowest volume setting the game is loud. What were you thinking? You realize that a high percentage of buyers are playing on their phone while in public? Personally I want to listen to audiobooks or music, not the game audio. I guarantee I'm not the only one bothered by this lack of sound option. Major design miss.
- Mattias “Jesus” Persson · v1.1.3
A good game

- Dorothy Peterson · v1.1.3
Very nice!
- Bruno Silva · v1.1.3
Good

Would have given it 5 if it wasn't fir infuriating stumbling blocks at every turn stopping you from progressing thru tedious tasks such as talk to everyone in said village or wait for something only for u to have to trigger it by back tracking over all old ground looking for an answer to a tedious task. High frustrating. If u have low patience avoid this game
- Chris Watson · v1.1.3
Great game itself. This game and all the other DQ titles (not sure about 8) have a severe audio crackling bug on Android 14. Have tried everything and cannot get rid of it. Will change to 5 star when this is fixed.
- Kristian Watts · v1.1.3
About 30+ hours in and I'm not even close to the end (havent even recruited Terry yet!) It's a long game but can be played in short bursts. Great music, good story and amazing graphics. This version is superior to the NDS port and is offline. What are you doing still reading reviews? It's a Dragon Quest. The 'Godfather' of JRPGs. Just get it.
- Andres b · v1.1.2
Decent graphics and gameplay. There are no issues with phone port and no crashes, etc.
- Daniel Watts
The best of the first six.
- The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl · v1.1.2
Love this game so much!!!

Android 13 with latest update June 1 2023- The game won't trigger the flag to find the tunnel to travel under the river, to reach the Alltrades chasm (Somnia to Port Haven path) after meeting the dwarf with his woodshed. The game is broken at the first path-sequence past the tutorial dungeon.😖
- Chris Bugby · v1.1.2
Works great, good story, mechanics. Solid turn based rpg. One of my favorite dragon quest. And I beat it and didn't notice any bugs, worked great on my phone.
- Zachary B · v1.1.2
Great game until the style competition, which ruins the entire story. Having to spend 2 hours to collect useless items to add to style, and then another hour in the stupid competition, just killed to momentum.
- Buelow Matthew · v1.1.2
the casino is broken. no one wants to spend 40 hours per week spinning a slot just to gain 100 tokens. so if you plan on getting some of the best stuff in game. you can forget it.
- Johnny Kilby · v1.1.2
A good port that works just fine just like 4 and 5. There's nothing inherently wrong with it
- Atticus Waters · v1.1.2
Like 4 and 5 same touch control annoyances but one again a solid port, DEFINITELY Worth the price
- True Rman V1 · v1.1.2
great game. controls a little touchy but not too bad.
- Carl Weiss · v1.1.2
Love this game so much! I played it on the Nintendo DS when it was first released and now years later I'm re-playing it on my phone (something I never thought would be possible when I was younger). This port looks great, the 3D environments are much better than they were on the DS and the game itself benefits from the portrait mode since you can see a bigger portion of the map. The one issue I had was getting used to the controls, I REALLY hope they add controller support through a future update
- Filip · v1.1.2
Love this.
- STN D.I.Y. Channel · v1.1.2
Crushed the enemy, saw them tremble before me, and heard the lamentations of their women.
- Penny Wise The Dancing Clown · v1.1.1
Not friendly systems
- Komol Panyasophonlert · v1.1.1
It would be much better if there was a fast forward button like 2x or 4x speed
- p Pavan · v1.1.1
2* can only run the game by coming onto playstore because the game icon is missing in the apps menu on my phone.
- V4 Skunk · v1.1.1
It's a great game but you can't make it wide screen or use a controller. Why?
- Robnaut 12 · v1.0.3
Love this game
- Matt Bossardet · v1.1.1
This is the final game in the Zenithian Trilogy and a great one at that. This port is overall pretty good but, if you play on newer phones there may be a bug that makes the game unplayable. I believe the game's speed is tied to the framerate, so on modern devices the game is like running on double its usual speed. This may render the game unplayable for some people, and I hope that an update can fix this issue very soon.
- Jude Ford (Zappy) · v1.1.0
Good game play and play it if you like rpg
- Hayden Mason · v1.1.0
Great game wish you would make breath of fire or lufia games
- Tim Smith · v1.1.0
I love it bro ez to use and fun As hell
- Straightcap · v1.1.0
As with the mobile ports of Dragon Quest IV and V, this is another solid entry with superior visuals and music compared to the original DS release. This port also has more generous vocation caps, which improves the difficulty balance and makes the game less grindy. While not as polished as IV and V, this sprawling adventure features a loveable cast reminiscent of Chrono Trigger, a fun job system, and tough bosses. Highly recommend for fans of old school JRPGs who missed out on this lost gem.
- Ben Berkey · v1.1.0
Crashes as soon as the first battle starts
- Zach Cop · v1.1.0
Great game. Hopefully it will have a remake one day.
- Matthew Weigum · v1.1.0
Game freezes at mini game, slippin slime.
- Colin Ballard · v1.1.0
Game freezes whenever I try to play the slime minigame
- Shad W · v1.1.0
Fairly fun, controls for movement are finicky
- Dean Winder · v1.1.0
