I used to enjoy the previous game iteration, Dungeon Raid, and, to be fair, this is the closest. I do enjoy a good roguelike challenge, provided it is fair and balanced. In this game, you get a sudden and ginormous difficulty spike, with more than two bosses/ elites appearing on the screen that can easily overwhelm you. If you enjoy a sadistic challenge or are a casual, simple player and want to retain your sanity through gaming escapism, I would suggest something else.

Solid game, would recommend.
- Anthony Brooks · v2.6.14
awesome game!! 😎👍
- Justin Laberge · v2.6.6
Simple gameplay with enough strategy to keep things interesting. Perfect for quick 1–5 minute sessions
- Syed Mustafa · v2.6.6
Finally! Next Gen dungeon raid! This time it's on crack! So awesome to see someone polish it up and make it the way it could have been. So great to see that game be such an inspiration (assumptively). Thanks so much!
- Andrew Moore · v2.6.2
Update #4: Developer takes user feedback and user privacy very seriously. Having had concerns with an update, the issues created were rectified immediately. The importance to data security is extremely crucial when navigating and operating any app from the Google Play store, and it turns away anyone who sees the same permission requirements that can be exploited for nefarious reasons in an app that cant justify even needing them. Thanks for respecting the player.
- Jayson Fernandez · v2.5.8
Not my genre of game, but well written enough to not refund it. Haven't figured it out yet, but it seems you can never kill your enemy and just how long you can survive your enemies attacks giving you like 40 rounds survival on easy level and 10-12 round survival at the hardest level.
- Shane Hurley · v2.5.6
I finally found this! It's the perfect replacement for the old defunct Dungeon Raid 😍
- Stan Fera · v2.4.5
Dungeon Raid reborn!
- Alexander Bourandas · v2.4.1
Good Clone - Bad Art. I'm forever grateful for this modern clone of one of my favorite apps of a bygone era: "Dungeon Raid". The only complaint I have is the ART. It doesn't make sense. Random AI pictures of axes get called swords and spears. "Frost Shield" is a little pink stick or something. The classes have avatars of humans, but the races get weird abstract symbols?! I'm fine with the more realistic style, though I preferred DR's simplicity... BUT AT LEAST MAKE THE PICTURES MAKE SENSE.
- Josh S · v2.1.9
I feel disappointed because I thought this was a fighter, but it"a a PUZzlER, lol, delete.
- Julian “Hiræther” Gorman · v2.1.6
I played it on a plane for recently so it definitely supports offline. I had airplane mode turned on and was not using the the plane's Wi-Fi.
- Mike Cheel · v2.1.4
It would be a fairly rated game but you are constantly asked to link a Google game profile. This is annoying and unnecessary. Do not recommend this game if you actually want to play it.
- Derek Wong · v2.0.6
Identical to dungeon raid in every way except visuals. I was expecting just a similar experience and to be a little disappointed, but that wasn't the case. great job
- Plethoria Official · v2.0.6
This game is awesome! It's a clone of an old iOS game called Dungeon Raid, which was my favorite game on that platform. Unfortunately Dungeon Raid has been delisted for years, so I was thrilled to find this gem on the play store. The art style is more detailed than Dungeon Raid was, but it plays pretty much the same. It even has classes like the original. If you were missing the OG like I was, you will love this game, especially since it's ad free and devoid of micro transactions!
- William Joseph Allan Pitre · v2.0.3
Enemy details never appear so you just get attacked every round for increasing damage and nothing you do makes any difference. Edit: There are no enemies at all. Can I email you screenshots or something?
- Todd Yates · v1.9.3
It seems like the developers listened to and fixed it when I initially complained about an annoying issue regarding a log in screen that kept appearing too often, nice to know that they seem to take feedback and help things for users, so far I am enjoying a simple yet fun game that's good for small snippets of time while I'm waiting for stuff here and there in my day
- M · v1.9.3
can't change races
- thegriffin88 gaming · v1.9.3
Great nod to "Dungeon Raid". You can totally see how much time and sweat the developers put into reviving that old classic, yet giving the game their own art style. Outstanding. I'm definitely enjoying this rehash.
- Jedi · v1.9.3
Fun and entertaining game. Perfect for playing a few fast games when you want to distract yourself.
- Avrely · v1.7.7
Very addicting game. Worth the download.
- G Villamil · v1.4.7
The Halloween theme looks nice and it can be added as an option after Halloween for the people that wans to keep it that way. Now the full screen on my table has game design, before there was an empty area... it will be appreciated other backgrounds 😁👍 // The sound now is too low even on maximum on the game and Android volume... please fix it, not big deal, the game still great and looks better.
- BebéTechManiac · v1.4.7
Good game. Just like Dungeon Raid in the old days.
- P M · v1.3.1
Overall fun game! It can get bland and repetitive, but you do get games and situations where you need to better think things through (e.g. the monster that reflects all damage back to you, or clearing such that the right objects fall into place for another clear). However, I can't seem to unlock any other classes besides the Rogue. Also not clear on why the interface doesn't just tell you that picking an item will give you a net gain of +1 armor, instead of saying +3.
- Andrew Yao · v1.3.1
Nicely done, but I would love a campaign instead of "see how high you can get". Thanks for not being freemium <3
- Adrian Edworthy · v1.3.1
Awesome
- Ronnie Harris · v1.3.1
The latest update made the sound volume very low even on high volume settings and I can't hear the sound effect for the red potion bottles! I appreciate the constant updates, but I still feel this app needs a lot of work!
- Derek Barnes (Thoth-Hermes)
Basically a Dungeon Raid remake. Pretty good, other than the fact that skulls wake up immediately instead of the turn after
- Mohd Haziem · v1.2.0
loved Dungeon Raid in its day, this game is exactly what I've been missing. thank you so much!!!
- Laurel · v1.2.0
Interesting tracing match game but it's too repetitive for my tastes
- Matt S · v1.2.0
For people who were addicted to Dungeon Raid, this is an excellent replacement. I've only played about an hour so far, but I am loving it.
- Michael Kaufman · v1.0.5
Dungeon Tracer blends RPG mechanics with match-3 puzzles, but falls short with unclear mechanics, bland audio, and lackluster visuals. While it has potential with different classes and a nemesis system, the game's pacing drags, making it hard to recommend. It needs more polish and content to be truly engaging. I’d suggest skipping this one.
- Gaming In The Moment · v1.0.5
Woweee. This is just a wonderful game. It wears its Dungeon Raid inspirations on its sleeve but adds so much more. Worth every cent.
- David Mitchell · v1.0.5
Love it. Very addictive
- Chris Suik · v1.0.5
I remember this game from many years ago. There is so much depth to this match puzzle! It is in desperate need of some updating tho.
- Joseph B. · v1.0.5
So happy this exists. My old favorite game to play on the train is back
- Freddie · v1.0.5
Fun game. Very similar to the old Dungeon Raid game. No ads or iap makes it an easy purchase for me.
- William Hunt · v1.0.5
Good
- Chinna Chintamreddy · v1.0.5
I too like many people am a fan of the original Dungeon Raid (DR). I had started making concepts myself. I have an old iPhone that still has it just to play DR. I've only played a couple rounds of Dungeon Tracer (DT), I am very happy so far. I think I liked the simpler look of DR a bit more. The fire indicators in DT are too much, it is hard to see what the tile type below it is. I think it would also be helpful to tap to see information rather than tap and hold. Thank you for making the game
- Corey Vincent · v1.0.5
Honestly, the game is fun. A really unique match 3 rpg with a lot of depth and roguelike aspects of finishing a run and starting over.
- Michael H · v1.0.4
Amazing puzzle matching, dungeon crawling, character developing, strategy game that works flawlessly on low-end devices. The developer has worked extremely hard and has delivered many of the features requested by the community. Constant updates bring fresh content with a plethora of more content planned for the future. Join the Discord, there you can share your ideas and concerns, with the possibility of your ideas being implemented one day. Highly recommended. Instant buy for me.
- Jayson Fernandez · v1.0.0
Update, is an addictive game.Played it a couple of hours, and unlocked a new character.I see the concept, you must learn the strategy, unlock characters, do modification and try not to die and reach the highest score possible for the leaderboard. Once you die, start over again. / Cool concept, but it goes over and over and there isn't any levels.I would like to see new ways to play this game.On easy is like a practice mode, but normal is quickly harder...hard and very hard are for the Professionals.
- BebéTechManiac · v1.0.0
Dungeon Raid of 2024. It takes heavy inspiration and even copies some of the stuff from the original, but that isn't bad. Tile matching isn't as smooth though, I hope the dev fixes this up (some leeway should be given across tiles because you can miss a tile just because you didn't trace over the center of it exactly) but other than that and being slightly grindy, I love the nostalgia.
- Josh (Wolfcape) · v0.9.5
Plays just like the classic rpg puzzle game, same aesthetic I like. 5 stars, plays just like original. Though an option for landscape view for playing on widescreen tablets would be nice
- stu · v0.9.5
Awesome Dungeon Raid clone! Still haven't figured out how to unlock stuff.
- Corey Bowman · v0.9.2
Fantastic matching by tracing puzzler rpg. Simple enough to pick up and play but has many stats that you can choose to dump points into to make each run unique. Definitely a homage to dungeon raid and I love it.
- kurt patzelt · v0.9.2
Feels good, plays good. I which they and a quest mode progress with your character. Otherwise great. Hope they implement full screen on Google Pixel 7+ devices.
- ZeromusUra · v0.9.2
An excellent roguelike match 3 rpg with polished mechanics, lots of fun! It would be cool if there was some type of reward at the end of a run to make a permanent improvement to the avatar. Either way it's a really fun game and runs smooth as butter 🧈 👍
- Charles · v0.8.9
It's very addictive and all the good of an rpg with a match puzzle game. Already spent hours and barley scratched surface.
- Semioth Ashbee · v0.8.9
Great puzzler with roguelike rpg elements. Easy to learn, hard to master, and really addictive. Haven't figured out how to unlock other characters despite almost reaching 10k on a normal run.
- Marko Taylor · v0.8.2
