FINAL FANTASY TACTICS :WotL

Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the best tactical RPGs ever created. The mobile version is clean, stable, and easy to play with touch controls. The job system is incredibly fun, the battles are challenging, and the story is unforgettable. Worth every minute and every star.

I LOVE this game and being able to play it on my phone is a delight. The touch controls can take a bit of getting used to, but are generally very smooth and intuitive. If I could change one thing, Id add back the multiplayer, but that will never happen. But my next pick would be Save File management. If you accidentally create an alternate save file you just gotta live with it or wipe all your save data. Not a huge deal, but bloats the UI a bit. Then this would be PERFECT.

Are you serious? I just opened my game after a while of not playing and my saved slot is gone. Just gone. I paid for this, put hours into it, saved constantly and was able to leave and come back no problem but now, my progress is just gone. Update: It's been 7 years since my review. The app crashed recently and I did everything I could to get it to work but it would not open. So I was left with one option, delete the game and re-download. Lost my save file yet again.

If the game would load and not crash immediately on start then I'd rate it a 5 because I love this game. The main point is this, IF the game loads for you then it's an amazing game. if the game won't load, don't fight it and just get your refund!

Game won't open - Been since March where the game flashes on screen then immediately closes. SE says it's a Gplay issue. Don't think so, my Gplay is fully updated on Android 16, it's their shoddy port to Androis that they won't fix.

An amazing game that has given so much enjoyment over the decades. Unfortunately moving to a Galaxy A17 has rendered the game unplayable, crashes at the initial loading screen. Truly a pity.

Game from before Y2K, makes me cry thinking about how indie games have fractured the industry. Such well put together material in a day when tedium in programming was required for things to work right the first time, no OTA updates. Because of a few excellent games from years gone by, I simply cannot justify acknowledging modern gaming as even comparable, kupo.

On my old phone Galaxy S10 4.5 stars. loved this game on ps and although I hate rebuying games, I made an exception for this one. recently got the S26 and now the game won't open saying the game is bugged. so until I find out why and it gets fixed, this is a 0 star game. cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. no luck.

DO NOT BUY UNTIL YOU SEE AN UPDATE PAST 21 JUNE 2026 Updating my review: This port has historically worked, but has broken with the most recent Android update. Hopefully the devs make an update to the port that restores compatibility. I love this game and am really bummed that the port is broken. You can find it across a lot of other platforms and if you can run a PSP emu, that's what this is based off of.

No controller support. you wouldn't think that would matter too much with a game like this, but it does. everytime you're done with an action you have to manually click which direction your character faces. this would be almost tolerable with an on screen controller, but they didn't even bother to give you that option..

Final Fantasy Tactics WotL. What can be said? If your a fan of old school turn based strategy rpgs, then this classic is THE best and definitive version by far depending on how good a phone or tablet you have. Highly recommended. (A little off topic for this review but I wish SquareEnix could/would hear the cries of its fanbase and update the new recent remake/rebot on consoles and patch that game to remove that ugly burlap sack filter...then that would make it the best version of this game.)

This port is okay. I do wish it had some of the modifiers like other FF ports on mobile(mainly to mitigate constant random battles). No cloud save and in battle quick save really ruins this. Updated 4/15/26: Cloud save and quick save added and make a great difference. Still some issues though.

A solid classic, worth owning. after almost 6 years on the Google Play store, now Google Play Games is claiming this game hasn't completed the verification process. If you try to log in via Google Play Games, it basically throws a tantrum and won't let you play it. the only way you can play, is by canceling out the sign in. get your act together Google.
