by far the worst pixel remaster entry. this game hates you. Leveling up anything is so insufferable it's a slap to the player's face. nearly every battle is a gimmick to the point where it becomes an annoyance to battle anything. bringing back the job system with more jobs doesn't make the game better, it just spreads must have abilities amongst 22 jobs that take an eternity to level up. Bosses are straight gimmicks and don't really reward you at all. Story wise these heroes take nothing but L's

Once again a masterpiece. The characters have even more depth stories than in FF4. Sometimes even the monsters and enemies. The story is even more vast than the previous one. I took 38h to finish (also because the next steps was less obvious than in previous games). One super downside of the game was the balancing, until the 20th hour I struggle every fight, even in random encounters. But when I got the hang of all the abilities and jobs it got super easy, even in the final stage.

Broken, I can't learn the transfusion spell. I use my beastmaster to control the devilfish and get it to use transfusion specifically on my blue mage and just don't learn the spell. I'll update to 5 stars when this is fixed.

Cloud saves not working. Can you please contact me? I have cloud saves on my other phone, but they don't show up on the game in my new phone. I go to the download screen and no saves show up. Logged into the same Google Play account... This game was a waste of money if that doesn't work.

great game but highly pissed after finding out they removed the extra jobs and sealed temple after removing the app and remodeling it only to make it less enjoyable than the version that came out several years ago. and it's something you don't find out until you finish the game.

I played Final Fantasy V on the GBA and I noticed that the sealed temple isn't in the game in this version. Would we be able to get that in the game as well? Thise other jobs and optional bosses like Neo Shinryu was a perfect way of killing extra time on the game. Would be appreciated to have that put into the game please

Fun gameplay. Buggy. Occasionally between cutscenes will glitch and freeze in a way that will require a restart. Probably has to do with switching to different apps. Not good for a mobile port. Tap mode doesn't work on secret passages (probably intended) so switch to controls once you encounter them. Beautiful graphics mixed with good old sprites. This was my fav FF.

Yes, it supports controllers. Please google make space for devs to show if a game does or does not. The port is pretty good! It is missing the additions from the GBA version, and I wish we had a few font options. Save every chance you get. Although it was infrequently, I did experience a few crashes trying to enter a town from the world map. Don't lose a big chunk of apb because you didn't save! The soundtrack is top tier as per usual with Uematsu. Replay value is high, worth the price for sure!

Unlike classics of the franchise many non or newer fans won't have heard much about this title, and even fans tend to rank it somewhere around middle of the pack. Do not let this deter you. FFV is probably one of the most fun titles in FF. It's job system is simple to understand but customizable enough to be endlessly engaging. The story is light, campy, and a little generic, but I feel this is to it's benefit. It's perfect for a light and breezy experience

One of the best FF games, period. Love the job system, and the characters are great, too. The remastered soundtrack is beautiful. Works great on Android with autosave/quicksave features so you can jump in and out without an issue. A recent update brought the features that the pixel remaster was missing from the console/PC versions, so you can now increase experience or turn random encounters off as needed.

hundreds of attempts at using both steal and mug in exdeaths castle on many different monsters and not a single time did either skill work. Google tells me it's a 40% chance so this is statistically impossible. Once this bug is looked at and fixed I will give the game the 5 star rating it deserves

I actually bought all the pixel remasters & I had never played FF5. This is one of my favorites for sure! I love the Characters, Job System & Gameplay in general. Just wish they would have included the extra content from the GBA version so I can take on Enou & acquire the last 4 job classes

game looks and sounds amazing. totally would recommend to friends once keyboard control is added. even bluetooth mouse would work but my bt5.0 mouse isn't responding even with the tap mode. i find this is an issue with more titles in the square library and not just this game though. FF5, FF8 Remastered, and Trials of Mana are a few that come to mind where the bluetooth mouse and keyboard don't get a response. Edit: ok it's been about a year since I last played. Game froze on me in Battle. Lol

I just finished beating the game on mobile. I was a bit sad that I couldn't access the post dungeon and get the optional classes. The targeting is a little difficult at times. I took the last star off solely bc of how much it costs... but you don't get the post game content. It would also be cool if we were gonna pay that much, that we could play the Advance edition that has the graphical updates and post game and such. Still a good game. Midly disappointed.
