FINAL FANTASY VI

A mostly serviceable version, although both control schemes lack quite a bit, and random encounters have simply stopped happening in the WoR half of the game on both attempts at a playthrough, making it impossible to recruit everyone or level properly.

I'm living my childhood dream! I just love Sqaure-Enix and I'm so happy they are releasing all their old games on the mobile platforms, thankful because I haven't played this game in over 15 years! it's a bit wonky on the controls at first but easy to get after a few minutes, BTW this has some quality of life modifiers in the options menu that I wish I knew about earlier as well! awesome game! I did say as a kid that one day I'll be able to play this game anytime, anywhere without any limits!

So, I finished final fantasy 6 many many times before and I finished it on here as well)I can say the game works Great you have enough settings to work with like being able to use classic settings and sound which is awesome, the Game worked super this is a master piece must have Final fantasy Game in your collection... Crash city. I frequently follow guides for this game but it crashes probably 70% of the time I tab out. luckily it has quick save but I have probably watched the opening splash several hundred times at this point. Unfortunately this is the pixel remaster not the GBA remaster so it's missing 3 aeons. so I gave it 3 stars.

In most instance this Pixel Remaster, actually surpasses the original SNES version, with very minor expectations; such as: I prefer the Blitz name "Bum Rush"(*Sabin's ultimate Blitz) to the Pixel Remaster's name for it etc; the "autofight" option along with the ability to turn on/off encounters and to adjust the amount of GP & EXP points received is a definite improvement. UPDATE: Shadow's dog wouldn't properly attack originally, but they fixed this a while ago & he attacks properly now.

never going to complete this. Google Play games has a notification read across the top of the screen every time i open it that it is saving progress. well it doesn't and it hasn't. terrible oversight considering something like ffbe i can retrieve easily. i had over 60 hours this time. i probably could've beat it at any point. this is terrible. i had the apple version and same thing. no proper software for automatically logging in and saving progress. manual upload is insufficient.

I have this problem where it says can't verify license needs to be online and the worse part is this game was out for the Gameboy and SNES and didn't need an online verification of license so why now of all times and all of the sudden basically you are paying money for product that ain't working

Updating from 1 star to 4 stars. This app now has controller support, which is a game changer. Movement and combat are much easier to control. The reason for losing a star is because the port seems to make the game easier than I remember than the snes version being. Port is still fun. Thanks for the update.

played all FF PR games. from best to worst: FF1, FF2, FF6, FF3, FF4, FF5. There's a lot of grinding for magic spells on this one, I did it for every character. this one is like an overhaul of the first and second games with ability points to level the spells rather than jobs (thank God) previous FF games had you grinding abp to level up the jobs but this game feels like it's not skimpy with abp it even gives you a double xp ring if you can find it. I didn't get all characters at the end.nicegame

Even though I preferred the previous game more this one is still very good. I liked that each character has a unique ability, and that there is no job system which I personally didn't like anyway. But THE MUSIC! Best one so far! Not so good things: the group was too large and SPOILER ALERT: after a VERY strong middle part the end itself was anticlimactic with a cheap epilogue compared to the previous game.

Sometimes, it will not start if you're offline, even if you've previously logged in. It's not terrible, but I wish I had bought it on pc instead because of the lack of offline access. Especially for the price. Offline access is possible and intended, but buggy. Not condoning piracy, but ports like these are a large portion of the reason people would rather pirate older games than buy a remaster. TLDR; good game bad port. Had issues with it within the first two hours.

it is a good game however, if you answer a text or anything even from the notification bar it will restart your game. so if you get a phone call or text while playing.......... reeeeeestart. makes it unplayable, too much grind for the quick save not to even work.
