Strategy RPG
Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 30 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 2,900 story stages available as of February 2026! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. GREAT.

Used to be a fun game. Left the game after Book 7, it was getting crazy, but still definitely playable back then. Came back, now every new unit that comes out takes 0 damage and one shots everything. Old returning players will find that 99% of the hundreds and hundreds of heroes in the game are now completely unusable. I suppose most have left at this point and it's surviving entirely on a small population of whales. It's a shame, I liked a lot of the FEH original characters.

its good to see that they redraw the old characters into more detailed one

This game is very addicting and casual-friendly. While it has in-app purchases, they do a great job of keeping the game balanced, so you don't need to be P2W to compete. Both P2W and F2P players rely on the exact same RNG, and F2P players have access to the same characters and meta needed to succeed. The only difference is that P2W offers a few minor benefits, like extra rewards, which are absolutely not required to advance or stay competitive.

This is godlike. Thank you Nintendo! Hope to see more games like this!

So far it's pretty cool. I'll play the game for a while and update my review after I get more of a feel for it.

Can be fun if you don't mind waiting for the hyper quick power creep to over power the obscene gatcha requirements. Been playing since the beginning, in the last 24 months there has been more and more content that can't be cleared unless you get one specfic unit off one specific banner or wait 12 months for the game's endlessly insane powercreep to make generic units that bulldoze all the previously unkillable stuff. Right now there is a summer unit who's abilities are 9 & a 1/2 pages long!

I've played this game on and off for many years. Their gacha system for pulling heroes is the most frustrating I have encountered. I have a hero I want and then the corresponding color element for the hero sometimes does not appear amongst my choices and I end up with a different 5 star hero that resets my focus pull rate.

powercreep has officially ruined this game. newest map is unbeatable

as much as I know fire emblem from smash bros, I love strategy games and I wanna make a team of the smash characters

Summoner Duels (PvP) is putrid garbage. It has terribly overpowered opponents using unbalanced trash. The power creep is beyond repair at this point. Only the latest heroes seem to matter and most units quickly become outdated and useless. Decent modes include Hall of Forms, Seer's Snare, Story Mode, Voting Gauntlet and Tempest Trials. Everything else is garbage. Don't start this game as it is a meaningless waste of time and energy for everyone involved.

Launch day player updating my review in light of the 3rd anniversary! Pocket sized Fire Emblem and its amazing! Great visuals and VAs! I, for one, welcome the new monthly subscription with open arms. It's good value and even at $120/yr this game has given me many hours/months of enjoyment that most AAA games do. It's fire emblem on the go and while it costs nothing to play it's nice to support something that has given me countless hours of fun with some added perks! Ty Nintendo & IS for 3yrs!

I love this game but the only thing I hate is how fast you spend all your feathers on one unit(s) like 2,000 for 3 to get to 4 🌟 and later 20,000 for 5 🌟 cause I understand you need that amount for a 5 🌟 but 2,000 for 3 to get to 4 🌟 now that's pain, I wish they would lower it for 3 🌟 to 1,000 instead of 2,000 for 4 🌟 and the Barracks,I feel they should be expand in the next future updates cause I have alot 4 🌟 and no space for new units or other units I need.
- Red Satoshi Ketchum · v10.7.0
Original review was in 2017, it was great then and still is now to have a fire emblem game be accessible on mobile and for free no less. it's nuts how much this game has changed in the past several years from limited units the rearmed and other unique aspects. to the feh pass special outfits. At its core the story is pretty fun and a interesting take using preexisting worlds and heroes to tell a new story that is compelling and continues in each update. -sincerely a fire emblem fan

I returned to the game in June 2026 on a whim after not playing since 2023 (for easy platinum points). The power creep is absolutely insane. Genuinely feels like a bunch of kids smashing figures together saying "Yeah, well I activate my infinity sword that kills everything!" There is no strategy anymore beyond "card swipe" especially for new or returning players. If you've been gone for a while don't bother with anything other than the story mode. Ridiculous. Make a real game. Art is still good.
- Andrew Welton · v10.6.0
It's fun! I like a lot of the activities. However, when I do summoner duels or anything of the sort, it kicks me out. Saying it's a bug or something, so I would need to update it when the creator patches it. Other than that it's okay.

Ew. 8 pity breaks before getting what i want. Disgusting levels of powercreep. Strongly recommend against playing unless you're not going to pull for characters you actually want. This game has been in a content draught for years. Basically, it's just an NFT simulatorㅡan image collector without appealling character sprites or animations commonly found in these games. Absolute waste of 9 Gigabytes. Might as well google the images; the art quality is way better anyway. The LOTTERY has better rates

It has one of the worst gacha systems I've seen. The gacha is RNG on RNG on more RNG, because getting scammed with random draws wasn't enough, they wanted you to really suffer with this one. If you do 40 draws, you are guaranteed a hero, BUT you have to subscribe to the FEH Pass to do that. If you want to buy any of the Resplendent heroes, you'll need the FEH Pass first before you're able to buy a hero. You need to spend $10 before they allow you to buy a hero for $5. It's a joke.

Story is so easy and trivial even without summoning/leveling outside of it, that I got bored and couldn't continue. It's not a real FE experience, it's just a doppleganger. Not to mention too much going on everywhere. It only exists for the existing players at this point. It's lacking in almost every way as a new player.

Free Nintendo points: the game. Yes, it is. microtransaction Haven but you can get away with a lot by not buying things. practically the only phone game I mess with now because it's quickly accessible and has a solid gameplay and setting to work with. better than the other squad-based battle games out there. maximum accessibility. playable in between tasks

- Malakai Vargas · v10.6.0
controls suck, why can I not select where to go and attack why is it all on one move so I can either move to where I want or attack in the place I dont want to be? Weapon refinery is absolute nonsense, you have to refine weapons to get stones to refine weapons? Balance is non-existent, gameplay is non-existent. there's 1 billion story missions that are all trivial. This sucks.
- Jesse Andersen · v10.6.0
I liked this game until it challenged my morals. I don't like how some characters are questionably dressed since I can't even tell if some of them have clothes on or not. I also think that the in game purchase prices are a tad bit expensive for what they give you in my opinion. I did avoid most of the online fighting stuff since others said to avoid it. other than that, this was a fun game to play ( in mobile game standards) yes, I did uninstall the game
- James Covell
No, it's not the same as a console game, but it does have the FE characters and legendary weapons you love, as well as familiar battle mechanics. Great story modes, a variety of activities, and decent recurring events. The gacha is generous and you truly never have to pay a dime to excel in this game, though there are certainly perks if you do pay. Limited team structure and stingy level capping do lead to stale experience after a while, however. Skill complexity is getting out of hand.
- Nick C. · v10.6.0
UPDATE: Love the game, been playing for years, but the amount of OP bs that has been coming out completely nullifies the value of SO MANY characters that I have literally been spending months-years building up, only for new characters to always outshine previous characters. Game has some of the worst balancing issues, and it's only gotten worse/keeps getting worse. I would love to give this 4 or 5 stars, but can't....
- Space Monkey · v10.6.0
I think that fire emblem heroes is a great game I have played. It's have over 1000 characters which is a lot. I love how the have other worlds in this story, my personal favorite would have to be the one with balder. I forget what it's called, but I think it's really cool. How they put this story together and all of that. So I write this 5 Stars, because it is a really good game. So far that I've played, I've only played for like..... maybe 2 years. But I say, this is a really good game.
- Natsuko C · v10.6.0
fun game
- LunarDawn · v10.6.0
A really fun game in the beginning but once you do everything, it kinda gets boring, especially when you can't get anymore rolls. It's basically where you're gonna have to pay to get stuff. And especially for new characters cause after 40 rolls you don't get them free, especially since getting a 5 star resets the pity rates, it's annoying. That's why I just started new again so I can keep playing and collecting instead of waiting so long for a new book to get more orbs.
- Tsugiko Takateo · v10.6.0
Great mobile fire emblem game. edit: Game is for gooners
- Jokergear · v1.0.2
Really fun game, I love collecting characters. Though I'd love for some way to get rid of extra 5 star characters, like a trade mechanic or actually being able to convert them into combat manuals, otherwise they kind of sit around. Also gets really boring once you finish everything, nothing to do afterwards.
- Shinchiro Takashi
one of them were called tiki which was kinda funny but they kinda sucked but I didn't really get that far before needed space for another game so maybe they are good but overall I enjoyed the game I thought it was kinda boring for a bit but I saw how it could be fun. 7/8 out of 10
