Do not download: immediate game crashes

I bought the game, and it immediately crashed as soon as I opened it, multiple times. I restarted my phone, offloaded and redownloaded the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, and it still doesn’t work. I will be looking to get a refund. I’m very disappointed

Fish tycoon

Dreadful. It’s booted me out of the game 3 times now. First time I deleted and reinstalled it on my phone. Then twice just now. This is not cool. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the boot out and that last update to this game. If you don’t plan to update this game frequently enough and just let it got down the toilet give us our money back for buying this game.

the game still does not work. It crashes. I’m requesting a refund because this is absolutely insane, I just wanted some good old nostalgia and instead I get money stolen from me for a single frame of an app that opens for a single second and crashes

New updates needed

I love this game, this use to be a game I played when i was in elementary school however it def needs some updating. 3 tanks are not enough for all the variety of fish we have, it would be fun to be able to redecorate the store and the tanks with new supplies. This game is very entertaining i love the fact that you can pause the game .

Still somehow working after 7 years without an optimization update!

I loved this game as a kid, just a nostalgia buy many, mayears ago. Played it some and enjoyed it. Somehow works on my IPhone 15 pro without an update in 7 years. A most pleasant surprise!

Yes, the game is what others say it is. Yes it can be fun. However the graphics look like the OG iPhone and the crappy coding made me waste a lot of money. Get the Lite version if you really insist on playing. I’ve tried both and really there is no difference.

Can’t see the whole fishdex in mobile

In the PC version you could see which species had been bred to completion. Hundreds of combinations. In this one, the only available info is which of the magic fish you’ve bred. It takes away so, so much.

Bummer

I know it’s been a few years since this was released; and I know there’s a fish tycoon two. However, nothing beats this classic format. The retro vibe is so comforting. I genuinely can’t stand The new one lol. I wish they would just do a simple update on this version. Make it a bit more practical, work out the bugs, provide an option where you can purchase isola-bucks with real money. Id pay for it. Come on guys, please lol.

Should be called Fish Doctor

I have played this game years ago and I don’t remember having to constantly heal sick fish. The point is to breed and sell fish. With a maxed out tank, all the magic plants and everything researched you still spend hundreds of dollars constantly healing sick fish. Waste of time.

This Game is Awesome.

To the dweeb that “knows a ton of people”, go ahead and tell them not to get the game. Fish Tycoon is a fun time killer/patience game. It’s not something you can just blow through and it takes practice to get it right. I failed several times when I got it back in 2010, but here I am in 2019 and I have rediscovered my love for it. I never managed to find all 7 magic fish before so here’s to hoping I can do it now! Take the time to try this out, because if you like a challenge and a game that makes you try new things then Fish Tycoon is right for you.

Needs some bug fixes

I bought this game and like it for the most part. The graphics are beautiful and game play is relaxing. My one beef is that when I stop time and then come back over half my fish are dead! This is not supposed to happen. So it is frustrating in that aspect. Please fix this bug.

Thank you for keeping this game ONE TIME PAY!

I have loved this game for years. I finally deleted virtual families 2 after lots of money (I mean a lot) and now it’s unplayable due to ads....beginning middle......crash. And same with the new pay-to-play fish tycoon. Lots of money there too. But I’m truly happy that you at LDW are still supporting this original Fish Tycoon. I truly LOVE this game. And I’m done playing pay-to-play from any developer.

Waste of time

The fish get sick too fast, dies to fast, and don’t sell in the fish store. The only way to keep up is sit at my mobile device non stop. Don’t have time to do this. It also needs to let the player know he reasonable price for a fish, allow you to change prices, and remove a fish from the store. SO AGGRAVATING!!! Don’t need an aggravating app when I just want to relax at night after a hard day.

LOVE THIS GAME!!!!

UPDATE: I absolutely freaked out when I noticed there was a new update out for Fish Tycoon!!! I’m actually thrilled to say that I was wrong about the developers - they clearly HAVEN’T given up on this game! Not only have they updated the original Fish Tycoon, but they also just released Fish Tycoon 2! I can’t wait any longer - gotta go check it out! FIRST REVIEW: This app is REALLY cool, and was one of the first fish breeding games around. And it has SO MUCH potential!!! Unfortunately the developers clearly gave up on it some years ago, which really bummed me out. Because of that, you can only have a max of 3 tanks (which isn't anywhere near enough room), the decoration choices are very limited, and there have been no updates & no new content (or new fish!) added since 2011... I REALLY wish the developers would start working on this again because it's different than all the other breeding games out there!

Great Game, but outdated

I love this app, it is so fun and not a $$$ burner and not super intense or time consuming. Totally kid appropriate too, which can be hard to find these days. My only complaint is that it's getting a little outdated. The app needs updated. I would love the option to buy more tanks, and an in-game chart of the fish already discovered and how you bred them.

I downloaded this because I use to love playing it years ago on my iPod. However I was extremely disappointed to see how awfully this game has aged. Not having an update since 2011 is ridiculous. At this point if they made a new HD version I wouldn't mind paying for it again. In short don't waste your money on this app till it's updated.
