Don't waste your time or money. This game will be fun in the beginning but then you'll hit a level you can't pass without paying REAL money. "Easy" levels will require you to use lots of power-ups & extra lives. I've been playing for several years - the costs keep going up and the value you get in return keeps going down. I luv the game BUT 9 diamonds for 5 extra lives is a bit much. I think it should be 3 for 5 and 5 for anything after that. I also think that you should reward diamonds for feeding other players fish. I’m on level 7722, so have been playing this game for a few years. It was my absolute favorite game for a long while, but in the last year or two, the game and the side “adventure” have both slid downward to the point where it’s frustrating to play. Games used to be fair and enjoyable, and you could earn helps easier. Now some levels are impossible to win without using gems, with days of playing one game to earn enough gems to get some extra moves….or spend money which is what they really want! It’s now harder to earn gems and lightning bolt energy. This new huge forest you have to get through in adventure game where you have to use lightning bolts to buy torches to get through with lots of pitfalls is HORRIBLE….wasting so much lightning bolt energy and my time. It’s a turnoff! It’s such a disappointment for a game that was amazing!

I started this game back in 2018 and now the levels are so difficult and all they want you to do is make in-app purchases in order to pass the level or in order to complete even the weekly new tasks and things. All they want now is money. I literally get stuck playing ONE level for hours three days in a row. They will not make changes to help with enjoyment of the game. All I feel now, most of the time, is frustration. They want money and they’re just making it harder and harder as the years go on and want you to make an app purchase. What started out as fun is now a source of my stress and because I put so much into the game I just want them to hear me and make it more enjoyable, but instead, I wanna quit. It’s sad.

But over those eight years, I have watched the game slowly decline. Recently, however, that decline has accelerated dramatically. Adding 10 extra diamond cards to the collection and removing the three-day Deep Dive and Snail Race events are just two examples. For players who truly enjoy the game and play it well, it has become almost impossible to keep up. We are the players who create the competition, the excitement, and the motivation for others. It is now almost impossible to complete team chests, and I won't even mention the team tournaments anymore. Soon, the only players left will be those who spend real money every month. But even they will eventually leave, because the competitive players who kept the game alive and made it exciting are the ones who are disappearing. What will remain then? Avatar frames and badges will effectively become paid content. Tournaments and mini-games will either be impossible to complete or simply not worth playing. If there is no meaningful goal, what is the point of spending several days tapping the screen just to beat a single level? There are many match-3 games that are much more enjoyable and rewarding. Even in our usually very active team, we've seen a clear decline over the past week. A couple of players have already quit, while the others are staying mainly because of friendships we've built over many years. But sooner or later, they will leave too. I'm waiting to see what July brings, hoping that something changes. If nothing does, I will delete the game without any regret. I understand that developers need to make money. But in my opinion, they have become greedy, and their focus has shifted away from making the game enjoyable for loyal players.

The developers are just jerks

You use helps to start a game and they place them in a corner where they do no good. The levels can take days or more to pass if you don’t want to make a purchase. Some side games are a waste of time because the rewards aren’t worth it. Not only is it that they are so paltry but because as I said above-you win a help to start and it is placed where it doesn’t help. Get a super lightening- they’ll make sure you can’t win after maybe one level and lose it. Blank the developer.

I am convinced that this game is designed for financial manipulation; very often, the game itself won’t let you pass a level until you purchase diamonds, or—even when a level is easy—a mandatory feature appears that requires 18 diamonds to continue, which creates pressure to buy diamonds so you don’t lose your progress. If you decline the offer, you lose your progress—but that’s not all. You try to complete the level again and again, but the same forced diamond purchase prompt appears with every subsequent attempt until you’ve used up all your lives. So you have to make a purchase, and then the game’s algorithms help you clear the levels; until then, the game itself will hinder your progress.

I really liked this game and ended up spending $ over time. There was a glitch in the game, I lost a lot because of it. When the problem was brought to their attention they acknowledged that it’s a “known” issue but then stopped responding to chat messages. I’m deleting it. Better for my wallet. If u like gambling u might like. Take a chance like I've been doing usually around 90% chance i open game and within 5 mins ill be kicked off. Look in team chat, booted. If i not booted then for sure i start typing message, definitely booted. Check standings, booted for sure. I've had better luck while playing levels my boot % goes down to about a 50/50 chance i don't get booted. Ridiculous. Contact support and u might get a reward for inconvenience of about 5 items and a message just keep going we are aware and fixing problem. Wooohooo. Problem still there now hasn't changed.

Very disappointed. Was advertised that lady was jumping in ocean to gather fish to sell and not like that when downloaded. If you advertise something then have that. Negative stats rating

Frustrating AF

Sick and tired of all the glitches, of being kicked out 10+ times a day, in-app purchases required to complete some tasks, not being able to send teammates cards because they’re not on my list when they should be, reaching out to support and days later getting a response with a “ sorry for the inconvenience” but not actually fixing the problem. This game has gone downhill..

Too many glitches

Have been trying to get help with this game for months. In the middle of play game goes back to Home Screen. Was told it’s because I’m playing on my iPad, they were working on it, I have lost boosters and complete side games because they just disappear. Left messages on my after message with customer service to no avail. I have enjoyed playing Fishdom for many years but as of late not at all.

MONEY SCAM/PIT

This game used to be enjoyable and fun to play. The last 6 months with the “new updates” has been torture. Why? It’s because easy level are not easy…all levels have become near impossible to beat unless you have boosters/diamonds. The algorithm they changed to this game due to “new updates” have allowed you to drain everything you have so you have no choice to pay. Pay to play? A free game? Sounds sad doesn’t it? A lot of loyal players for years are leaving and fast due to no change and support is non existent. They will close out your conversation and say “ oh we have to many requests so we can’t help right now but put in another message request and we will get back to you.” Yes, they have don’t this to me for about 4 months now and about 6 human agents all do the same thing. This is supposed to be a relaxing enjoyable game. It has become frustration and irritating to where they don’t care unless you pay $$$. Congrats Fishdom..you lost your ways/roots since you first started. Now you’re a monster money greedy scam who could care less about your “customers”. Please stay far away from this game unless you want stress and get mad because you can’t beat 1 easy level. 0 stars!

Disappointmented

I’ve been playing this game for years. I loved that it didn’t have ads and everything was achievable without spending real money. The in-app purchases were all fairly affordable if you chose to use them. However, the most recent challenges require you to make a real money purchase to progress. This is the first time I’ve seen this in the game and i find it really distasteful. I won’t be playing anymore.

The game suddenly go back to level one

This is terrible I don’t know why suddenly this game start me back to level 1,After several years I have been plays with this game my level was more than 8500, what kind of horrible app is this…. I guess I have to find other games.Stop update your app frequently like that that’s terrible

Once this was a good game - not so much now

At some point the economics in this game went off the rails. Even the basic tasks are now out of reach expensive because the flow of resources is a trickle. Either by design or as a result of updates, you will find yourself in a position where you will need to spend too much money or spend incredibly way too much time to gather resources. If you do not care about making progress and a contributing team member then you may still find some value in the game. If not, you will not be able to complete the necessary steps for an event without spending money.

Not like the ads but still fun

This is a fun merge 3 game but it is not at all like the ads. Only the first two levels are the little fish getting bigger and eating the bigger fish. After that it’s kind of short mini games and merge 3 puzzles. If you like merge 3 games, you would like this. If you want it to be like the ads, don’t get it.

Just another match game

They advertise the puzzles, but those would only show up every now and then. Now, it’s been months since I’ve seen one. The little Indiana Jones rip-off side game is also pointless unless you want to spend a LOT of time working it. Otherwise, it just switches to new episode before you can complete the current one. Cute concept, but it’s really just another match game. Deleted.

Honest opinion This game has changed. You could beat levels after several attempts of trying. But now it goes on and on without any results, the only way is to buy more and more diamonds. Ok first of all the game is not how it's advertised, sure there are special levels like the advertising but it's not a main part in the game like the adds say. It's basically just another candy crush game except you get fish and make ur own sea area for them which is probably the funnest part in the game. At least for me the game got boring and repetitive really fast so I deleted it but I decided I'll make a review before you decide you really wanna download it so your welcome

Great but complicated

I really like this game but the thing is some of the mini games are hard, lots of bugging on my device, and hard to earn lots of coins. I love how you can buy fish but it gets really annoying how there all expensive. Overall this game is fun but not a fav yet. God bless!

These billionaire brothers do NOT CARE about their players. They have turned the majority of their customer service complaints over to AI bots. For 3 weeks I get the run around It’s always due to high call volume we are sorry we couldn’t help if problem still persists start a new ticket. They close out your complaint and make u start again hoping that you just give up. Which most people do. But after being a loyal player since games inception I’ve had enough. I will be reporting to FTC and the BBB also sending complaints to Apple, Google, and Amazon. I truly do not know how they have such a high rating. They must be paying Apple for these starts. These Russian billionaire brothers are corrupt and I love my team but want to see this company sued!

Expensive

Been playing this since 2019 and they keep making harder levels that require you to spend money on gems to beat. Plus they been up charging on everything and give you less. The boosters before the game start is a waste, they always stick it in a corner where it doesn’t help you at all. I been noticing these changes the past year and will delete soon if they don’t fix this issue.
