absolute masterpiece, nothing comes close to it on playstore in genre

significant lag

I have never in my life ever bought a premium version of a mobile game so fast after playing the demo. This game scratches that itch of mobile strategy game that I can play while commuting. Not super detailed like HOI 4 and not too basic like some other strategy games. I love how we can customize the troops and vehicles depending on the game we are in. I also love how there are many many options of vehicles to choose from, all in historical names. I like how the AI is also responsive and dynamic

worst tutorial ever

I wish you luck guys, u made my and many other people's dream come in reality 😁

Overcomplicated
- I G · v8.4.9
Nearly impossible to figure out, learning curve too high. Not very mobile friendly. Needs a better tutorial - accidentally wasted my move turn trying to look at unit details, then couldn't do the next task of moving units because out of moves.
- Mik Jms
Too many information to be shown on a mobile screen. Tutorial does not really teach well. This would be better as a PC game.

not a good phone game

This game is great. Not much else to say. No Micros and no performance issues. I've dumped about 100 hours in it this month. Its cool playing through the campaigns. There's a little bit of a learning curve, mastering how to use your different units effectively, when to attack and sometimes when to defend. So many scenarios you can also play. A great buy for the amount of content you get. 👌

The text bar UI below sometimes prevents us from pressing the hourglass button while doing tutorial.
- Angelo Korompis (Angelo) · v8.4.5
Absolutely superb game, with the recent addition to AI and the new draw on map tools; this makes it the most comprehensive and defining military game. I'm absolutely in love with this. I've been playing a couple of years, and it has completely surpassed itself and for absolute pennies! 2026 May update; still the GOAT.
- Sek · v8.4.4
Wonderful game, has some minor flaws with the ai, but worth the buy. Modding might seem complicated but doable once you watch enough videos. Speaking of modding, some mods that seemed fun are unfortunately only for the PC version. Any way to add them to mobile, or is it out of your control?
- Liam Bernard Azucena · v8.4.2
Good Turn Based Strategy for Android. Reminds me so much of the Panzer General series which I really enjoyed. The only real issue I have is the lack of online sync system between mobile devices which would really be nice to have since I use both phone and tablet, and use the former on the go and the latter when at home. Would need PC to transfer files between devices which is quite bothersome to do. overall solid game for a generous price tag.
- Jam · v8.4.0
I really like the idea of the game but sadly some things make it not great. Firstly engineers are broken, they cant build anything. Second and more important, research/policies are needlessly over done. They should be simplified and more streamlined. If the goal is to make this "realistic" you have failed on two fronts in that regard. It's a game, and U.S. Rangers beat Italian light infantry all day. Do your research and act like a mature adult when someone gives you a honest critique.
- Stefan Bock · v8.3.5
it locks up, otherwise very nice
- Snagelpus
Can you add an option in the settings to change the naval unit graphics back to the old ones? The new graphics makes them harder to see.
- Ruben Guijarro · v8.3.11
great game for strategy enthusiasts, however the bot loves to cheat. September of 1942 in Stalingrad was historically extremely dry with barely any overcast for the entire month and if you're playing that mission in game, it will start off that way. But the moment you get air superiority, the game will have it 90% storms until you lose it, then it will go back to being dry. Friggin clankers, man
- Angry Boi · v8.3.8
fantastic war game. dense at first, but worth figuring it out
- Andrew Rodrigues · v8.3.8
More content than probably any other war game (on console and mobile). As long as you like the gameplay loop, you could probably play this forever. Frequently updated by the dev and worth way more than its price tag.
- Chris Maggard · v8.3.3
some oldman gave it 3 stars because he thinks the game isn’t compatible with phones and you need a tablet to play it comfortably. this is Play Store mean to be for mobile, go buy the steam version and play it on your PC, oldman. It’s not the dev fault if you need glasses 50mm thick to play this game.
- Weich
The best WW2 strategy game on mobile, which doesn't have any hidden costs.
- Altug Omeroglu · v8.1.6
Best game I found for mobile devices. I especially like the feature that allows you to modify units along with the scenario editor/creator. Keep up the good work!
- Robert Matheus · v8.1.6
An excellent strategy game that will get you hooked. Endless replayability which doesn't bore you with basic mechanics and is easy enough to get started. The sounds are immersive and makes you feel like a commander and also the game forces you to improve constantly.
- Syl Knorr · v8.1.2
Amongst the best WW2 grand strategy games. Certainly the best for Android.
- Thomas · v8.1.2
This reminds me of the hearts of iron days 10/10! Love this game details matter. Wishing a ww3 version or other war events/ senerios korea, Vietnam and cold war. let's do this!
- Clarence Gosney · v8.1.1
lately errors won't load games spend all that time on one to not be able to continue. lost alot of save games too. :(
- Rob B · v8.1.1
well worth the time that it takes to get over the steep learning curve.
- Jason Steen · v8.1.0
great game. any plans for cold war or post cold war scenarios?
- Tyler Simpson · v8.1.0
one of my top 5 , one of my favorites I have come across in my whole life.
- mel agodde · v8.1.0
I don't know of any other war game that's so well-designed. It's just a shame that icons can't be added when creating units on mobile devices. Are you considering adding such an option?
- Dawid · v8.1.0
Exceptional gaming experience, however. I noticed they do not provide the same improvements and mods offered with the same game on steam. MUSIC, SCENARIOS AND OTHER VERSION IMPROVEMENTS. I think this is a shame and needs to be addressed.
- Charles Brace · v8.1.0
this game is awesome you are a legendary developer
- unknown · v8.0.8
This is my opinion is a beautifully done game! I love these grid turn based war games and this one give me a run for my money! I'd love to have a WW1 version also! great game!
- Damien Enos · v8.0.8
Finally a game comes along that scratches an itch I've had since my days of playing Panzer General. Lots of maps to play through in the campaign as well as scenarios. Well worth the cost in my opinion. Thanks again to the dev for staying the course & creating this great game for us to enjoy.
- W Sharpnack · v8.0.7
Good game, just a weird bug when you tap a button on the left when selecting a unit automatically scrolls the map to the left side of the screen.
- Paul Mabe · v8.0.1
This game is excellent. I appreciate the almost daily updates. Keep it up, this is a one of a kind game on android. Reminds me of the PC game War in the East, War in the West and War in the East 2.
- Kenneth Nash · v8.0.1
probably one of the most detailed games I've ever played I love the style of game and would love to see you guys do a world war I style had some crashing issues but that might be my device edit. so obviously it's going to crash when you play for 8 hours straight that's all good this game is I kind of would like to see a system with commanders that are available in combat V1 and V2 rockets would be pretty sweet if you made them expensive so you can't just Spam them
- Victor Montruchio · v8.0.1
the game itself... excellent. the unit sprites are a really good touch and make it very immersive. the game even has a map editor, many different scenarios and campaign choices so replayability is excellent. however the game, atleast on android, runs very hot and drains battery faster than most other games. maybe this can be fixed one day, otherwise a really good purchase. EDIT: Problem fixed now, my framerate was set very high in graphics settings. though i would like an option to set GUI scale
- Spartan 117 · v7.7.43
I hope I don't offend War Frogs Studio by saying this but this game is a must have for fans of the old Panzer/Allied General console games from the early 90's. I have been looking for someone to make this game for decades. I can't believe it only has 5K downloads. I only wish I had known about it when it was on Kickstarter. The only complaint I have is that there's no way to toggle the hex grid on/off. Otherwise absolutely 10/10, will highly recommend to all (don't mean to gush 😎).
- Steve Stanley · v7.7.42
Fantastic turn based strategy game with lots of depth, customization, and replayability. This is one of those rare games on mobile that is actually worth playing and for a super reasonable price. If you like turn based WW2 games like the Panzer Corps series you should love this. We need more quality games like this on mobile! Way too much shovelware to shift through to find gems like this.
- Chase DeBuck · v7.7.40
The game is fantastic...
- Kamaldeen Awal · v7.7.36
great game. worth every penny. development team keep it up to date with bug fixes and even content extensions.
- Shawn “ChainedBox” Downing · v7.7.35
This game is a real disappointment, for it could have been first rate, save for one exasperating limitation: no more than one unit can be placed on a single hex. This makes it impossible to concentrate forces and leads to a ridiculous logjam of units. If the author could rectify this, the game could become one of the very best mobile wargames. As it stands, it is very mediocre.
- Robert Murphy · v7.7.35
Had to delete a 146-turn game on Europe 1942 cause the game lost one of my Ranger squads. WHAT HAPPENED: I had a line of Rangers on a stretch of mountains & I went to move a squad to the next mountain tile & they made the marching noise, but they didn't move. It was raining so I chalked it up to they couldn't move because of the rain. Got busy, saved & exited. Just loaded the game & that squad's gone! Wasn't in the resupply all OR the redeploy list. Couldn't build another unit cause 10/10 built!
- John G
Overall, fabulous game. I have noticed a few flaws however. The computer player tends to be able to do some fun things tho. Naval units somehow replenish in the ocean, whereas your own ships need to be in port to do so. Makes the game harder than it needs to be. On the whole however, this very much reminds me of the old SSI Panzer General series. It was very well worth the purchase.
- Daniel Carter · v7.7.33
fantastic game
- Shawn Mckinney · v7.7.30
Best mobile wargame out there. A PC port with nothing missing!
- Quinn Augruso · v7.7.25
I am now officaly addicted to this game
- Farouk Ahmed · v7.7.28
I've been playing this game a ton lately. I really enjoy it. i love all the different maps and scenarios and the ability to make your own. i also like the art style. i hope to see maybe some more content added in the future. maybe some early post-war vehicles and aircraft? i dont know. It's your game after all, so if it's meant to be strictly ww2, then fair enough. im happy with that. but yeah, it's a great game. It's my favourite game on moble devices, in my opinion.
- Louis Turl · v7.7.27
a great experience playing this well worth the money a lot to do and learn
- Stephen Clay · v7.7.27
Outstanding game
