The main game has a few maps after which you have to buy everything else unless you want to play some very bad maps online. I bought this game thinking it could all work offline. very disappointing.

my son and I enjoy playing this together. it's nice you can choose which areas you want to buy as you go. I like that you can cook to move things sometimes to find the object under something.

was it fun? for a bit. but it quickly becomes a slog to find certain things. not to mention this is a paid app with microtransactions. they're very small, yes, but these add new levels that are basically needed to get anything more out of a game you'll otherwise beat in like 1 to 2 hours. it feels insincere, I think for a game like this, these bonus levels should be included when buying the game first up.

the game isn't too hard to play and the hints are good. my main issue is with how the people are ALL very white looking, which really shows with the Egyptian and native American levels... feels white washy and odd. I didn't get past the native American levels because of this, I just had to uninstall it, just felt too weird.

Decent game, balanced level of difficulty, you can ignore the hints for a challenge and just search. Base game is <3 hours of gameplay, which is expensive. All other levels shown on the launch screen are paid dlc. I can't justify spending 3x the cost of the game to buy all dlc. Wish the price was more balanced.

Honestly, one of the best mobile games I have ever played. Beautifally crafted maps show cute and interesting scenery through visual storytelling. Also, all the hidden objects make sense in the context of the maps themselves and the induvidual hints for all the objects are really well done. Love the game and I will also be playing the sequels.

The other day, I played another hidden object game that, aside from requiring an in-app purchase to remove ads, very blatantly used AI generated art, which is a blight on humanity. So I immediately dropped it and went for this game instead. It's one-time-pay with no ads, and has a charming art style that's NOT AI generated as far as I know.

The kind of scavenger hunt game that I like, great graphics, attention to detail, along with some humorous inserts in the "descriptions" of the items. Also, the community maps are great.
