it's a really good merge game—one of the best really. But you just have to wait 3+ hours to get 100 energy back and most of the time you don't have any other way to get energy unless you get gems, which really sucks cuz you're enjoying the game then suddenly you're out of energy. I was enjoying the game, one of my favorites until I found multiple identical purchases which I didn't make. I sent refund request which was approved. Then I got message saying that I had 24hrs to pay or contact support which I did. I was told to send a picture which I did. I even have a screenshot picture of me contacting support. No one EVER reached out to me, 24hrs ened. NOW I'm banned which is very annoying and frustrating, even a little ticked off. I guess I'm looking for a new fun game.

I play Gossip Harbor as well and imo it's smoother graphics wise but!!! I like the fashion aspect of this game way more. It's pacing is just kinda annoying for me, using energy to make it through each cut scene... Main reason for giving Hollywood Merge one Star is because of the amount of insane steps I had to take (From Uninstalling to erasing data, cache, storage, etc, etc, etc...) Booo! This game used to be fun, but now it's an exhausting grind. Challenges require way too much energy and give too little time, forcing you to play 24/7 just to earn mediocre rewards. The fashion contest winners are laughable. It feels like the judges still have COVID because they have no sense of taste. A beach outfit with an evening gown? Seriously? Creativity doesn't win anymore. Uninstalling. Good riddance.

So, I reinstalled it this game this week forgetting I had played it before. Man, I really would like it but the story is so disjointed and put on like one item, go to story and again character says she has to get ready again! the moves the character does after each dressing piece is weird. Honestly not letting the story play until the whole outfit is done would fit better. The pieces needed the most are the fewest given as well. Not relaxing at all!!

Honestly this game is great! no ads, option to skip storyline is nice touch. its a good mix between fun dress up, story line, makeover stuff to merging items which is the funner part for me! I will say when I first played the game It was less expensive to progress in the storyline, makeovers would cost 200ish coins for the entire outfit, makeup and hair but now its like 120 coins to just pick the eyebrows? was much funner to start off with, getting bored of the constant waiting now

At first I loved this game. But the farther you get in, the more frustrating it becomes. I have bought gems and energy and special passes, spending way more money than I want to just trying to complete challenges and despite that always fall short. The worst part is the part of the game I was there for was the dress up part. As the game goes on it is harder to earn coins, and you spend a majority of the coins you do earn on the storyline, that I personally find annoying. I'm tapping out.

I'm addicted to this game! The storyline is really good, and I always want to know what's going to happen next. In the beginning, merges are easier and take up less energy. But as you get further along, the energy cost for each item is outrageous! I'll work on the same item for 2 whole days or more sometimes! The side games are fun, and the outfit of the day is something I look forward to each day. But if you don't pay to play, you're going to get frustrated pretty fast as you move ahead.

Played it for a few months. Was great at first, but eventually lost my interest. The events/minigames get harder to clear, i always get ranked 100+ on the daily dressing contest despite trying my best (the people who did rank 1-40 sometimes isn't even the appropriate outfit for the theme), when you dress up your avatar in profile you can't change the background or scenario into something else - only the current background of the story's episode you're in. IMO, not much fashion items look good.

Fun game. It's better than other merge games, but it's still a merge game. The worst part is how long it takes to get items, and how little energy you get. Example, you need shoes, you press the wardrobe 50 times and only get 1 pair of shoes and 49 clothing items. Now you're out of energy, and you haven't fulfilled an order. This is why these games lose me. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if possible, for that alone.
