Incoherence: Puzzle Escape

was great, until I got stuck at a part that I even watched a walkthrough for & it turns out an item from my inventory vanished yet wasnt in the spot I got it from & that was needed to continue. very disappointing. :/

Interesting game, and I love how the memory mechanics work for both learning the protagonist's story and progression! I enjoy the graphics overall, and the voice sounds clear. I have trouble where the hinting system comes up. Yes, I read that it's part of the game. I wish it weren't so integrated with progression. Also, it's sometimes hard to make out that "back" arrow, and also some other objects like the glass jar on the house counter. They just need higher contrast and they'll be fine.

Interesting puzzles involving memory plates! It's quite satisfying to solve the puzzles. The hints system was useful too. The only problems are some puzzles are too dark and the letters too small to see the clues properly.

Classic Glitch weirdness Enjoyed the game very much. Some puzzles were quite easy but a few really had me almost reach for the hint button. Almost. One of the things I like about these games is when I'm stuck, I close it down for a day or so and when I come back fresh, I often figure it out. Great fun!

I have played every single one of your games since Forever Lost and I must say that this is hands-down my favorite psychological thriller you've two great guys have made so far! I like how it's a full length game, but it has a "doors and rooms". It's unique, extremely clever, but retains all the Glitch-isms fans love. I edited my last post because it's hard to be specific about everything I enjoyed about Incoherence without leaving "spoilers". Can't wait for the next installment of this series!

It wouldn't pick up the popcorn cup, so I left it. Now I'm stuck in the airport. Can't go forward. Can't go back. Ah well. it was fun while it lasted. What I can't understand is that there are several "slots" for saved progress, but no "Save" button.

A very mediocre game from a typically excellent developer. This game had somewhat below average graphics as well as the puzzles. There have been a few glitch games which I have had problems with regarding losing data and being forced to start over and over again. This did not happen with this game but it was nowhere near as good as some of the others. That said, I still enjoy most of the glitch games available. If you enjoy a puzzle adventure games with a story, glitch games deliver.

There is one aspect of this game I do not like (so 4/5 stars) You can play parts of it out of order and not know it for some time. Then you must replay parts of it until you determine the correct order, play that section in correct order, and then you can continue. Some will find it intriguing, but I didn't. The scenes and puzzles are extremely good. The story? Well, Incoherence is an apt title, but that did not detract for me.

I have not seen any other review dealing with problems in the 1st chapter...I have not been able to end the chapt because I can't use the repaired popcorn cup with bubblegum filled with water in the room with the gong in the tube behind screen. The next room to fill it comes after and I have to go back and when I do the cup of water disappears! I have reset the game 4 times and the same thing happens every time, no cup and no water. What am I doing wrong? I love Glitch games btw...

Loved all of glitch games previous games, but this one made no sense, even the hints mentioned things that were not accessible in that section or area. I think that depending on how you place items in the second room, you may not be able to complete it without hints, which removes the joy of solving the puzzles. Very disappointing for me after such polished games in the past from this company.

Only completed first set of rooms, but Glitch Games are consistently fair, if not on the harder side. The puzzles range from easy puzzles you have seen before, to original puzzles to get you really thinking. I have NEVER come across one where there is an unfair leap of logic.

I absolutely loved this. Well worth the very reasonable price given the effort and content! I noticed some reviews complain that puzzles don't make sense, hints aren't showing, etc. But I promise you it's actually by design-- this is a challenging and creative game. Any time I something seemed off to me, I later figured out that it's actually just part of the overall puzzle design! They have an amazing group on Discord if you feel confused or stuck by anything, just ask. Highly recommended!!

I don't understand those giving this game 5 and 4 stars. This one falls short in several categories: 1) Hints. I press the hint box and nothing pops up. I have to do it multiple times, vary the box location on screen, and the duration of the press to finally get the hint to pop up. 2) Some puzzles are simply illogical and make non sense. This is a key requirement to making adventure or escape games. 3) Initial splash screen is obnoxious and can't be skipped by a touch.
