While King of Fighters is a great game, the app for android is not a great option for playing. the controls even when tweaking the settings,are lagging and just unresponsive most of the time. Extremely hard to simulate an arcade style setup on a flat screen. The computer players even in the easiest settings thrash you. There is no moves list and no training mode. Both would have been helpful to novice players such as myself. Turns joy into frustration quickly.

this game will not allow you to get past certain levels almost as if it's programmed this way I've beaten the whole game in the past somewhere else but recently purchased it through Google play store and it's totally different. Not as good as I thought it would be.

I'm playing mobile but, it's difficult to do combos if you don't have knowledge I literally spent hours and made no progress, one request add practice or training mode on mobile.

From what I can tell this is very similar if not the same to the console releases. They even have controller compatability which is awesome! The 8-bit Do NeoGeo controller works great with this as well as my Razer Kishi. I actually play with touch controls because I like to play at work. One you get used to them you'll find that you can perform the same inputs with your thumb and will build the muscle memory to basically just gesture the inputs in one motion

So far I love it. The added menus and look and responsiveness is way better than i thought it'd be. (Edit) Please make sure this game stays updated for future android I love it and really don't want to lose it. The game is fine but theres one HUGE problem with it, there is no way you can play it using a controller, you are stick using mobile touch screen controls, wich is horrible for fighting games, because of this i do not recommend this game.

No options to change the size and position of joystick. After playing for a while, the game suddenly accelerates and makes it unplayable.

Good port of a classic game. The lag using Bluetooth is not a deal breaker, but far from optimal. The best option is playing using the USB connection of your device. It improves a lot and no issues with several controllers (ps4/5, pro controller, Xbox and even arcade stick on Android 13). Although, the controller configuration isn't intuitive, I didn't see the microphone icon is in fact controller configuration. And, there's no option to merge two joycons as a single controller. Please fix that.

I just wished that it wasn't so, but again as in the 02 android port of kof, run sooooo slooooow, why a +20 years old game runs so slow and I can run genshin impact/modern games no problem??? How can i get a refund?

Yet another superior release. Thank you for this KOF 98 version. Bought it without hesitation. I had to adjust the controller setting from analog to digital for smooth playing (better detection of special and super special moves), but it's all good. Using my 8BitDo NEO GEO gamepad to play.
