Fun puzzles, nice visuals, and a healthy dose of nostalgia. Very much enjoyed replaying the original trilogy. Hoping we get HD re-releases of the prequel games one of these days.

my favourite Layton game of all time, so glad to be able to play it remastered!
- Untrained GM · v1.0.5
I have come back to this game after a while, and it looks like the calibration has been fixed, so since that was my only issue before, I'll finish the game and enjoy the experience :D
- Ian Dillon · v1.0.3
this is my favorite videogame of all time I'm so happy I can play it on mobile and that the mobile version is true to the original
- bimpadimp · v1.0.3
Beloved childhood game!! I'm so happy I have access to it again :)
- Leith Radian · v1.0.2
After playing the original two games when they came out on DS and missing this one, I picked it up on a whim after hearing how good it was. This port is very nice, bringing over a DS game perfectly and giving the option to rotate the top screen to a full screen view for cutscenes. The game itself is spectacular - the puzzles are fun, the characters are charming, and the story is amazing. Play the whole trilogy, and play this last - but don't wait sixteen years like me!
- Jordan “Flex” Johnson · v1.0.2
I really love this game but there's a lot of bugs :( I can't write in an answer to the write in answer puzzles without it crashing and the game is off centered. Please fix. Thanks!
- The Queen · v1.0.2
GOAT game, release prequel trilogy on mobile pls 🙏🙏🙏
- Jules C. · v1.0.2
I absolutely love this game but now it's unplayable after the update! I keep putting in the right answers and it tells me it's wrong! I'm inputting the right answer I've checked many times. Please fix!
- Sarah Veggian · v1.0.2
The story is a bit zany and bonkers in this one, but you're still getting classic Layton banter and puzzle work. Gorgeous art, chill "play at your own pace" structure, and a ridiculous amount of content for your money here. Better than any freemium game on the market!
- Aven Gonzalez · v1.0.1
This is one of my favorite games ever and they ported it to the phone well

- Benjamin Rhodes · v1.0.1
Excellent port. No issues with game quality when transferred to mobile. Great game as well with great puzzles and narrative.
- Rusty Anderson · v1.0.1
Glad to see I'm not just nostalgic for when I owned this game. This game is amazing, well worth the money if you love a great story, voice acting, animations, music, and, of course, puzzles!
- Average Boi · v1.0.1
So good! Just finished it, and I loved the story and all the puzzles were wonderful! Great replayability, hours of great puzzles and stories.
- Lilah Hegarty · v1.0.1
Great game. The updated graphics are a great touch.

As a Layton fan, seeing Unwound Future in HD quality is amazing. The graphics look great. It even looks like they redid the graphics for the car minigame! My only gripe seems to be the sound effects in the Parrot minigame. For some reason, I can't hear the sounds of the parrot jumping. I know they were there in the original since I can hear them in my Nintendo DS version. Also, the text in the boxes are a little off center but it could be because of my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 8). Great port!
- Danielle C (Trianera) · v1.0.1
This whole series is one of my favorites! Absolutely worth it!
- Melissa Reyna · v1.0.1
amazing as always. i hope they port the rest of them! i can't believe i missed out on these when i was a kid
- Kat Fysh · v1.0.1
Love it. Heartwarming ending just like diabolical box. The rest is what you'd expect front the series. Great story again.
- Yervant
One of the best entries in the original trilogy. The only thing I miss about having it on the DS is that you could put the console to sleep and pick up the game later as if you never left. Here you need to jump through the title screen and a recap but that's not a deal breaker. The story too, had me gripped until the end, I even shed a tear. No spoilers here though, pick it up and play it yourself.
- Jon Cross · v1.0.1
Quite honestly one of my favorite DS games of all time. When they first started re-releasing these games I was a little disappointed that they didn't decide to do more with them. The same applies here as there were a lot of cool things they could've implimented had they decided to do things like re-record the music, or add new cutscenes. I get that these were probably supposed to be simple ports, but still. If you can get past that though, this game is just as great as it was 10 years ago.

Another great remaster of a DS classic
- Nicholas Saulsbury · v1.0.0
Good game, but upgrading to Android 11 broke being able to enter letters and numbers for me.
- Stephen Hanek · v1.0.0

- Amy Wang · v1.0.0
Thank you for bringing us this game! I was worried we weren't going to get this re-release but I'm glad it came!
- Keith Lappin · v1.0.0
Interesting story. Different puzzles than the first two in the series. Works well.
- David C
An excellent hd rerelease, the art is more lovely and detailed (especially in the animated cutscenes), the voice acting shines, and the puzzles are still just as fun and varied as ever! Highly recommended, best in the series!
- Matthew Melia · v1.0.0
This game is so amazing! It's just as good on mobile as it is on the NDS. I'm so glad I can play the first three Professor Layton games anywhere now!

- richard blatchford · v1.0.0
By far my favorite game in the Layton series. The game fits well on mobile, and the graphical upgrades look great. Unwound Future still holds up very well today, so if you're a fan of puzzles and engaging, heartfelt stories, then this is a game for you.
