It is a good emulator, but I personally suggest this emulator uses Geolith which is more accurate neo geo core. I also suggest to make this emulator the neo geo definite emulator. Why not add the ability this emulator runs neo geo cd games too? That would make this emulator the definite neo geo emulator because the emulator will be able to run neo geo aes, mvs, and cd. I hope more updates in the future.

What I'm really wanting is a Final Burn Alpha Emulator but from the best I can tell one is not being made anymore for Android. I know in the past (6 years ago) there was an emulator for FBA but it's history and bit the dust! 😞 sucks

Another great emulator from Robert Broglia. I dig that his whole suite has the same framework for the settings, which allow (but do not need) very in-depth tweaking. One of the best features is 'affinity control', you can choose which processor core will work the app. Works without problem and saves lots of battery time indeed, as NeoGeo emulation doesn't need your full flagship power. Simply choose one of the little cores and save money. All in all, very approachable and really good.

NEO emu is one of the best NeoGeo arcade emulators about. Link your roms folder with neogeo.zip bios in the same folder as your neogeo game roms. Excellent emulation and easy to use. I recommend this application. 5 🌟

I tested the ACA Neo Geo Games officially purchased VS emu.NEO, apples to apples. It was a nice surprise to find out that this emulator is way better than the official games. Edit: After updating the Univ Bios to 4.0 I saw KoF graphical glitches were corrected. Although, regardless of the Bios version making changes to Dip Switch options, these don't change. On KpF 2000 leveling up the difficulty up to 8, this setting doesn't apply and it remains on Lv4. Who's the fault? Emu o Univ Bios?

It's a good emulator if you don't function it's because you don't have the bios inside to the roms folder or your rom it's patched. It's necessary try with different roms if one of them does not work.

needs more touch screen marco buttons such as BC for max mode, AB dodge, CD blowback, AC for double punch, BD for double kick. it is hard to push two buttons at once for touchscreen so macros are sometimes nessesary. I tried adding and overlaying two extra buttons but it only presses one at a time, if you could press two overlayed buttons at once it would also be good and work. UPDATED to fix kof2001,2002, and 2003. my favorite hack game kof2002 magic plus 2 . Good 5/5 😀🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😀

Doesn't work with retroid launcher, which is very disappointing. Paid for it but can't use it correctly. It does play some games that reteoarch can't, but it's not usable with a launcher so I'll keep using retroarch.

In the latest version, it does not accept the filename as argument. For example, it does not understand "sengoku3.zip" as the filename to open. I used to be able to use Daijishō launcher to launch "sengoku3.zip". The latest version of NEO.emu cannot open "sengoku3.zip"

All the games I tried are missing graphics and it can't open 7z files so not much good to me.

The best Neo Geo emulator on the store! Easily worth the 3.99! You can switch regions and console to arcade simply. You get graphics options including scanlines with various degees. The only thing I had to do myself was make sure I had the correct bios in my rom directory but doing something manually is par for the course with emulators so no biggie! Glad to have a ton of working Neo Geo games now running perfectly on my phone! Along with the new 8bitdo Neo Geo controller I am in heaven!

Right now, low, only because I can't find the NeoGeo.zip. Why wouldn't you include this if it is a necessary file? If anyone can tell me where to get it, that would be good. Update. Found the zip, and so far, works great. Did not like Mame4Android. Contoller did not work great. This works well. Would give it a 5 if that zip was included.

I have the bios and have tried to run loads of games. Zipped and un zipped. Only street hoop works. I have zipped Bin files and also Zipped rom files. 1 works out of 25 tried. Using Nvidia shield . These files work on other emulators, is it me or the programme?

Neo.emu's shortcomings don't come from the app itself (which is just as great as the others), but rather by the fact that GnGeo is not the most accurate thing and stopped development years ago. Broglia tries very hard here, but this just can't top arcade emulators in the NeoGeo realm. Final Burn Neo is worth the trouble over this.

I had been looking for a neo geo emulator for at least a month. On each game. Half of my games wouldn't work, and the controls were bonkers. When ai launched the system, it was able to tell me rhe issue right off and now I can play all of them. I love the .EMU series, but this one was especially good for a complex console.

This emulator needs a lot of trial and error. My mistake was using FBA roms, when I used the correct version of MAME roms, it worked very well. The official website gave me so much clartiy on how it should work

No picture on Galaxy Tab A7. Games run and controllers are detected but black screen. Tried all suggestions. Funny thing is in options I can use system memory, openGL PBO and Hardware buffer (none of these show a picture,but games run)however I cant change GPU copy mode to "(Auto)optimal mode" for some reason. It just keeps reverting to "Hardware buffer". I'm fairly certain this is the issue. My SNK games however run flawlessly on the Galaxy Tab A7 using the Mame4driod emulator. Go figure. Sorry about 1 star, but I cant rate what I cant see. Id definitely say 4 or 5 stars if it was sorted.
