Quad Touch

Great to see Quake 2 rerelease on it, but would you kindly allow for splitscreen multi-player and botmatch. Same goes for Quake 1 rerelease. On a side note: would you kindly port Prey (2006), Quake 4 and Enemy Territory Wolfenstein?

Amending a previous review. amazing that we got the quake 2 rerelease ported to android. the one and only issue I've found is that the in game equipment wheel doesn't seem to work. other than that, it performs flawlessly with even less device strain than darkplaces for quake 1. And the previous bugs I had with the gamepad are now fixed.

This is the definitive way to play any of the classic Quake games and mods on your phone. Like I said in my Delta Touch review, while I had no issues it might be hard to navigate for newbies or casuals.

It's a great app. Let you run all the quake games. But my main issue with it is being able to run mods. I can't seem to figure out how to do it with all the different folders and everything. It's very complicated, unlike Delta touch, that's very simple and straightforward, they need to update the app and actually make use of the mod option where you could just select the moon that you want and apply it to the actual game and run it like Delta touch.

loving this app on my Odin 2 Portal! the only issue I am having is that my movement speed seems really slow in Q3. i have tried toggling everything (auto-run in game, joystick settings both in game and on the Odin), but no matter what I do I am barely above walking speed. no info online and I see the dev responds to reviews so hopefully may know why! Technically, everything is fine with this app... The huge downside to it is that it gives you ads as a paid app. Ads are popping up while in the game, and the ads are also popping up while you are not in the game and not even running the app. So basically you have to accept this app putting an ad virus in your device, and you also pay for it. Shameful

Unfortunately I have no idea how to make this work properly, I've had the app for like a year or two but every time i redownload it and try watching a tutorial on how to put quake into it, I just don't understand. I don't know where to find a proper full explanation on how to make it work.

The experience (as with other Open Touch projects) is awesome and feels polished. I'm playing on Retroid Pocket 4 pro, and both, Q1 and Q2 are enjoyable with the gamepad. The gyro support for aiming quickly becomes the second nature. I was able to run full games with music. The app contains multiple engines which support different features. I can recommend Yamagi for Q2 and QuakeSpasm for Q1, they provide the most OG vibes. Many thanks to the project creator and everyone involved.

Pretty good so far but Quake 2 control settings don't seem to be persistent and there doesn't appear to be a method to scale the UI to something readable. Other than that, Quake 1 worked perfectly. I haven't tried 3 yet.

This app is good but I need help with Delta Touch, I just bought a new phone to replace my older one, when I opened play store and logged in through my account, it says that both of Delta touch and Quad Touch is still behind a paywall even though I already bought them both. I was able to get Quad Touch through some kind of android magic but I couldn't get Delta Touch ( I tried everything ). Please help ASAP

this is fantastic. for less than half the price of what Bethesda charges for a single Doom game I'm able to play Quake 1, 2, and 3 whether or not with all kinds of mods very easily. installing maps and mods is just as easy as with a PC/Mac. same folder structure. also check Delta Touch for Doom. this is the one that supports Hexen 2 (Quad Touch). 5/5

If you happen to own a legal version of Quake on let's say Epic. This will not work with your Quake files. Because the Epic version doesn't come with the original files. Only the enhanced ones. This app is only compatible with the Steam (and maybe GOG) versions of Quake. Works fine if you have that exact version. This doesn't work with older versions of quake, and it also doesn't work on the remaster. So make sure you have the right version of quake before purchasing this.

I have a LOT of love for OpenTouchGaming. They're incredible, I cannot begin to describe how overly excited I was when I found out I could play Blood through Zeta/Nblood and then I discovered Delta, Quad, and Alpha. Quad touch is amazing, the engines all run well and the gaming is smooth. Touch controls and customization are easy to handle. I highly recommend this app.

when playing quake 1, I get server ended client "player" removed when using remaster pak 1 (works when using og pak 0 & 1) but remaster pak 0 & 1 works flawlessly for quake 2 everything else works as expected
