Read-a-Pop turns "learning to read" into a game kids beg to play. Balloons drift up the screen, each showing a real word — your child reads it out loud and pops it. We designed Read-a-Pop around how children actually learn to read: • 1,000+ real words from the trusted Dolch and Fry lists plus decodable phonics patterns — the same words schools use, introduced from easy to harder. • The word is SHOWN as your child pops it, so popping and reading become the same happy moment — the approach early-literacy research recommends, instead of bolting a reward onto a non-reading action. • Words are set in Andika, a typeface made for new readers (clear b/d/p/q and I/l/1), so letters never confuse. • On "My Words," tap any word your child has collected to hear it spoken aloud — a gentle, on-device pronunciation helper. Two ways to play — both kind, both bounded. • Read & Pop: calm and pressure-free. Fill the basket by reading 100 words. No timer, no losing — just read, pop, and celebrate.
