Recursion: Puzzle Escape

I love glitch games, I've bought every available game, but recursion was far too repetive for me. You basically, get a clue and then, to continue, you have to time out on a loop or die to then go back to the start and replay, to get your next clue, over and over. It's like 1 step forwards, 2 steps back on repeat. I personally didn't have the attention span to finish it. Although, as usual, great graphics, interface and puzzles!

This was super expensive, but I love every other Glitch game and surely it'll be worth it! Nope. I think this was the quickest game I've ever finished. There is some faux difficulty built in with the level resetting every X minutes, but the actual puzzles are minimal. Add in a lot of tedious repetition and far too long doing nothing but watch a clock count down so you can hit a button at the exact right time, and I'm genuinely disappointed... the exorbitant price is just insult to injury.

I love the concept of this game. I'm not sure I've seen this specific type of escape room game on Android before. And of course, there are plenty of absurd little references and jokes for those of you paying attention.

Already I can see this is going to be a great scratcher. I've set the clock to 3 minutes and have my C.A.M.E.R.A ready. Even though you keep starting again, you don't actually have to play every puzzle again in sequence. As you become familiar with the game, there are short cuts and clever implementations of the loop mechanic.

I enjoy ALL your games I've played so far! This one IS different from most of your previous games because of the paradox element. I love a good "time loop" movie...but a game...it's definitely a first for me. Every bit of clever Glitchisms - from humor to clues - is included. The "Unlimited" option shows how thoughtful you are about your fans having an enjoyable playing experience. Obviously, some may have missed this feature in the settings. Glad I didn't! I'm a Glitch fanatic. While this wasn't my favorite game of theirs it was unique and challenging and definitely had the Glitch feel. I didn't love the time constraint and having to repeat actions a lot, but good puzzles overall with some really clever mechanics. And those emails at the end...ugh.

Probably one of the most annoying escape games I've ever played. I'd only advise this one if like replaying your games over and over. I'm not sure who would find this or who design a game like this thinking it would be fun.

Was glad to have the option to put the time loop on unlimited. Pretty good game overall. I'm just not a huge fan of the time loop deal, but I understand the developers trying a different variety of game play. Thanks to developers for their hard work.

I have played every game you Devs have created, but im afraid this game isnt for me...i find the time loop irritating because there is nothing worse than having to repeat things over and over again, it makes you loose your concentration on the overall story line...i have now got to the point where I'm not enjoying the game, so now wishing i had asked for a refund because i know it will be one game i wont be finishing

Meh. This is the 1st glitch game that I didn't give 5 ✨. I just can't get into it. I don't care for the timed game play. I absolutely love all the other glitch games and hopefully the next one will be out soon and resemble the rest. I'm not done yet, maybe once I finish the game, I'll change my rating but I'm not excited to play it so it'll take me awhile🫤

Once again, Glitch delivers BIG! I am not sure how they can continue to be so creative, but they did not disappoint with Recursion. The puzzles are a good balance ranging from "easy" to completely soul-crushing at times. BUT...when you finally figure those out, you get a HUGE sense of satisfaction. The time loop reset concept is also crazy creative, which becomes a key tool in figuring out some of the puzzles. If you like unique puzzle-styled games, and have a good sense of humor, try this one!

So far pretty good :) definitely a good Glitch game. Only thing is performance drastically decreases quite quickly after playing for a little bit. Closing and opening the game seems to help for a short time. Playing on a S22 Ultra
