Great!

loving the game however I had to email support due to the ice skating part. I cant continue the game because what is supposed to happen, isn't. I watched a walk through and followed it & still nothing. hope support can reply soon. :/

- Jolanda Spoor-Huizing · v3.1.4
While I appreciate the art style, this was my least favorite and the least intuitive rusty lake game I’ve played. Love all their other stuff, these puzzles just didn’t click for me.
- emberrivera · v1.8
Interesting and sometimes disturbing but the puzzles were good.
- C Tanner · v3.1.4
Absolutely no complaints, this is for sure one of my favorite rusty lake games! Gave me hours of entertainment and gameplay (if I didn't look up the walk-through very often) I would definitely recommend this game to literally everyone
- No Way · v3.1.4
I love the Rusty Lake games... my only issue, which is just a personal thing, doesn't mean it's a bad game, is that it grossed me out too much. I can't finish it, so wish I could get a refund, but at the same time, happy to help these guys keep making games. Just beware if you have a weaker stomach.
- Dionna Moore · v3.1.4

These games are always the best. The only puzzle I struggled with was the frog egg one. I think I glitched it some how but I fixed it by looking up the YouTube tutorial for that one

It doesn't matter how many times I play the Rusty Lake games, I will always come back for multiple replays. I love this dev and the games they come out with. Please never stop making them!
- Hunter W · v3.1.1
Probably my least favorite. Didn't enjoy much of the mini games Or had to search all over for clues. Some, I couldn't figure out. Not the same style as other of their games. Some parts were enjoyable tho.
- Leslie Jaquette · v3.1.1
Origins story, of a character you know...
- MusikChik077 · v3.1.1
The out of the box thinking required to solve some of the puzzles is second to none. The characters, while being stereotype cliches, are the perfect dark version of their personalities. Rusty Lake definitely delivers every time.
- Steven Dodds
brilliant game, throughout engaging and entertaining with just the right level of weird and creepy
- Stewart Jardine · v3.1.1
I play these games with my kotyk, they're very good.
- Jon Manjius · v3.1.1

- Andreea :3 · v3.1.1
I am in love with all the games by Rusty Lake! I played every single one of them, I am in deep search, trying to find something similar that gives this taste for so long, I just can't find it. The puzzles, the storyline, graphics, and everything in it are perfect. Highly highly recommend any of their games!!
- Şevval Çelik
well, it's awesome. I'm really enjoying it. thank you creators
- Apryl June Reed · v3.1.1
Will there EVER be another Rusty Lake game??? I've played them all and absolutely love them. They're difficult and weird & a lil spooky. Unique to say the least. I'd love to play another one some day. Even another cube escape would be awesome
- Rey Liz
Passed the Game, great experience! I leave 4 and not 5 because of that sliding in order to see all the screens and move between areas. It was really unpleasent... Anyways, great game, after all
- Андрей Андреев
Loved it! Fun and challenging as usual.
- Hayley Gordon · v3.1.1
Amazing
- Darina Sedlakova
I love all the rusty lake games. This one is very fun and the puzzles are a nice balance between challenging and fun. This one has my favorite voice acting so far. That little song. Chefs kiss.
- Holly Perrine · v3.1.1
Excellent!! Worth to buy
- Jiamin · v3.0.8
Every one of the Rusty Lake games is incredible. I hope they never end
- Lunaluna135 · v1.8
Let's say I have played almost all the Rusty Lake games.
- Guilherme Nunes · v3.1.1
Awesome as usual with no observed bugs that I saw. Game progresses nicely to longer and more difficult plagues. Love the “twin peaks” vibe in this!
- MiskatonicKnight · v1.8
One of the best Rusty Lake games i’ve played
- Luniume fan · v1.8
My late wife got me this game and I finally was able to revisit it recently. The puzzles all intertwine amazingly, and there is a haunted, forlorn, sinister feeling to everything. If you would like to step into a universe of symbolic depravity while bending your brain on very creative and original puzzles, this is a game with a convoluted theme, eerie graphics and music, and decently friendly interface. The puzzles, while not discouragingly difficult, may keep you entertained for days, and the secrets range from tap-rewarding to fiendish.
- lostproductivity · v1.8
Great level of challenge for sure. There are negative reviews below that say some of the puzzles are too hard and “nobody” can solve them without looking online. Well, I guess I’m nobody, because I just completed it all over the course of 2 evenings, without a hint or ever a glimpse of a walkthrough. Will it take you some time to complete? Yes, but that’s the point! Who wants a game that you finish in 15 mins? Well worth the money spent. There aren’t many activities that will give you many hours enjoyment for only $2.99. If you like a good challenge, this one is for you. If not, don’t blame the developers because it’s too hard for you, just delete it and look elsewhere for something easier.
- jlawrence0710 · v1.8
I’m a 33 year old mom and don’t usually play games on my phone, but Samsara Room happened to come across recommendations in the App Store and my kid was asleep so figured why not. I’ve now played almost every single game Rusty Lake offers, including the ones that cost money. I recommend this one to someone starting out the series. It’s in my opinion the least difficult of all of the others, but I still thoroughly enjoyed playing. This game is simply brilliant. Please keep the games in this series coming, I will keep playing!
- Missblondgurl · v1.8
It’s a little different than the other Rusty lake games but I think this one is one of my favorites, I might replay it sometime. I love the concept of the plagues and I also enjoy the fact we get to see more of the family tree. Absolutely an awesome game I am a Rusty lake lover.
- Tyleristhequeen · v1.8
This game is very very creepy and dark very quickly. Not a game I want to open myself to and get some bad juju or something worst. Nope.
- TyTy… · v1.8
Won’t let me put the spike in the guy who is trapped in ice so I’m stuck.
- Nicolesields · v1.8
This is one of the most imaginative and thought provoking experience I’ve ever had with a game, a mobile game nonetheless. The story is creative and enjoyable, and utilized the 10 plagues very well. Oh, and don’t get me started on the music, the perfect mix of calming and unnerving elements make the music yet another aspect of why this game is great. I do hope you continue this series. And hey, maybe you might get a full length film someday.
- soupyes · v1.8
That’s why you pay 3 dollars. Better that the already awesome free ones. Ten chapters. Wow. Love the production.so good!!!!
- 昊昱大帅哥 · v1.8
I follow what they do in the walkthrough and it doesn’t work. Also how the heck are you suppose to know what to do in the first place. The order to peck those snowman arms is nowhere in the game.
- bdpanda5 · v1.8
I absolutely love everything about this game! I like how it was creepy but not overly creepy, I LOVE the art, I love how you have to think, this is 100% worth the money. If you are thinking about getting it, do it!
- Black&Blue333 · v1.8
So it was great but when there wasn’t inter net the game stope d working
- uh can u fix this · v1.8
i downloaded this game on both my macbook and my phone and every time i reach the fifth plague it freezes up during the cube flashback to Caroline writing her equations in the cave. Even when I close the app or uninstall it I can’t get past that freeze and can’t finish the game. Is there anything I can do or is this just a bug?? Otherwise, great story! great game!
- sophia g :))) · v1.8
I’ve done the Cubes… Roots… Hotel… now Paradise… i had no problem paying for the ones that cost since you gave us Cubes for free. But now that I’ve done them all… what am i supposed to do?! No really. -_- I loved the journey. Loved the puzzles. Loved these games! I need more. I reallyyyyyyy hope y’all are about to drop another one. Because i don’t know what else to do with my phone. 🥺
- the Missus23 · v1.8
I have purchased every cube escape game that has hit the App Store. This was the last one I did. And now… I can’t find any other games that can fill the need of puzzle and adventure. Rusty lake (along with second maze at times) has blown me away with their gameplay, storylines, and characters. Every app brings a different element of the story and a different adventure that is crucial. I will be forever replaying old games from here and hoping that another game series will begin. And you know, just like a matchbox in a dresser drawer, I’ll always be here for Rusty lake.
- basilcrew · v1.8
This is a great game, I have played all of their games and they are all very fun and intricate. And I wish that they will come out with more soon!!
- BobTheBuilder1414 · v1.8
I love this game so much. I loved every second of it and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’ll be trying some other Rusty games, but this one’s going to be hard to beat!
- jbryiofc · v1.8
Buy it right now now because good
- maya litaaaaaaaa · v1.8
The developers of Rusty Lake are some of the most dedicated people ever. Every aspect of this game—the puzzles, the characters, the music, the art, was wonderful. Very eerie without being graphic, this game makes you think. A lot of people writing these reviews obviously don’t understand the lore of this series, which is unfortunate because this game tells an amazing story. I’m telling you, you HAVE to play this game, it’s just so good. It’s only a couple bucks, and the developers usually have annual sales. I love their community and I’m telling you you’re going to want to be a part of it. Much love to the Lake <3
- Gingersnapgirlie1 · v1.8
This is a delightful game! I absolutely love all the games by rusty lake. Visually and mentally simulating. I keep checking in to see if there are any new games! Haven’t been disappointed yet. Thank you for these lovely games! They are gems!!
- Nkyds · v1.8
What Rusty Lake productions excelled at was its unique way of storytelling, eerily whimsical artwork, and the intertwined world they’ve built. But the latest RL trilogy feels nothing short of a hasty, hollow Hollywood remake created to rake in money from its loyal followers. As an avid fan of the horror genre, it’s obvious the creative team at RL has put all their efforts into making a movie for Hollywood and completely abandoned its iOS gaming division. There’s no vision, no world, no passion and no soul… which are all the necessary ingredients for great storytelling. Instead, it has become yet another 3 buck game lost amongst the ocean of forgettable app store merchandise.
- Rex Ford · v1.8
(possible spoilers for the game ahead!) As a huge fan of Rusty Lake, I can safely say this game did not disappoint me. There were several hours worth of content in here, which was a pleasant surprise considering most Cube Escape games take under an hour to complete. Beyond the normal gameplay, there are also 50 achievements to look for after you finish the game. I didn't feel like any of the puzzles repeated, even though there were a lot of them. I enjoyed the story a lot, though it was a bit unclear. The Eilander family has been referenced in previous games, so it was fun having a separate game to explore them. Spoiler, but having it revealed at the end that all the flashbacks included an element from the elixir recipe was amazing to me. My only complaints are: -I did experience a few audio and visual bugs (at one point the woodpecker pecking noise continued even when i left the screen, and i had to reopen the game for it to go away. a few other glitches like the frog staying on the screen even after grandma supposedly put it in the pot.) -I found a couple of the puzzles to be very difficult (the vegetable puzzle was so hard i had to consult a walkthrough), but otherwise they were a good balance of easy and challenging. -I thought the layout of the map was a bit disorienting. As some of the puzzles require going back and forth between areas, it became rather annoying to zigzag around needlessly long paths. It was overall a very fun game and I plan on purchasing other Rusty Lake games in the future.
- tobyadobe · v1.8
Rusty Lake games are the gold standard for me in terms of adventure/puzzle games. I loved the point and click adventure games of the 90s (Monkey Island, King’s Quest, etc), and these are different but they scratch that itch. Keep doing what you do!
- Dr German · v1.8
Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When I start one, I can’t put it down until I finish. I’m glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though I try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. I prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logic’d. Thank you, I can’t wait for another one. I wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, I really enjoyed going back for more!
- SirenKnight · v1.8
Love the journey to this game. Got stuck by the bones 🦴 part. But I’ve solved the puzzle. I will play it again. All the games are great.
- Llorona69 · v1.8
I love all the games by Rusty Lake. The puzzles, the stories, the art. All of it. I love them. My favorite games. I’ll even watch the Rusty Lake timeline videos to piece it all together and walkthroughs to see what I’ve missed. I hope they continue to make more games. And so many are free that I really don’t mind paying for the few.
- Missopotamus · v1.8
You guys do a fantastic job with these games. This one so far has been my favorite. No matter how many different escape games I play with Rusty Lake, you never fail to keep me intrigued by your surprises and oddities. It’s just too cool. Keep up the great work. I’m off to the App Store in search of my next Rusty Lake escape so keep ‘em coming.
- Humanbeing86 · v1.8
I loved this game - couldn’t put it down the puzzles were the perfect level of difficulty and the art and gameplay was spectacular - best three bucks I have ever spent on an app
- smarty1223556 · v1.8
It is pretty hard but still fun.
- Rustyinasheville · v1.8
This game has been great overall. I’m currently just finished the fly plague now I’m trying to get to the one with the cow but when I enter the black cube at the end of the fly plague, it shows nothing but a black screen whenever it goes to the next plague.

- Exodus20:12 · v1.8
This is a super game. Very creative, strange dark. The puzzles are challenging and it’s nice and long so it’s a bargain at twice the price.
- kirkbross · v1.8
As always, amazing! I only have one question after playing a couple of your games.. is there a specific order to play them in?
- ConcernedCitizenCBS · v1.8
Definitely a little on the disturbing side but that is what makes it creepy and fun. May be the best game I have played on the App Store! Love the puzzles, story line and overall feel of this game!
- Bavarian71 · v1.8
This game tries so hard to be “disturbing” yet fails miserably through lackluster nonsensical “puzzles” and absolute wretched audio. Seriously, was the score recorded through a toilet paper roll? Just bad, the muffled track alone destroys any hope for this overrated dreck.
- hosewives · v1.8
Thanks for helping keep my brain active 😃
- CanieCamCam · v1.8
The game was fun in the beginning until I reached the snowman section. I followed what the walk through snowman section help and it still would not let me finish the snowman part. It got pretty frustrating so I stopped playing. The other games are fun and I was able to get through the other games from Rusty Lake.
- Stephy816 · v1.8
I loved the Cube Escape series but was reluctant to purchase the Paradise based on some of the reviews. I decided to try it because I thought “how different could it be when I really liked all other games by them?” Well this one is truly the least favorite of mine. Like others said, there is a lot of going back and forth and again and again on the map. The puzzles look like they were developed without much thought. I just kept randomly clicking on some of the puzzles because they were underwhelming and I still was able to solve some of them that way. Some same graphics were used from their other games... all the voice overs even for the female characters were recorded by males for some reason....storyline was not captivating to say the least. I LOVED their games such as Roots and Paradox and I’m not sure what happened here... like all the captivating storyline and thoughtful puzzles they used to have were not present, and this game really focused on stabbing and killing different animals and bugs crawling out of peoples noses.... and that’s basically it. I’m hoping the developers take this into consideration for the next games.
- anastasiakowa · v1.8
We are HUGE Rusty Lake fans after completing all of the games. This one is our favorite- the narrative, creep level, perplexing puzzles- all of it kept us engaged and excited to keep playing. Thanks Rusty Lake for another great one! Love, L+D
- Gunner_18 · v1.8
creepy and interesting. i love this game so much
- natalielaurie · v1.8
Challenging, intelligently creepy, addicting and immersive.
- Mandeeleebee · v1.8
I adore rusty lake games, like they’re my favorite! But I was disappointed with how repetitive this felt. Other than that on this specific one, I always enjoy the other games.
- hparker1016 · v1.8
I’ve played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. They’re worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. I can’t wait for more chapters to be released!
- Bottomlesslake · v1.8
I liked this one because it was challenging but not impossible and lasted much longer than some of the other stories. The puzzles are unique and creative. I look forward to more from Rusty Lake.
- Dierks_B · v1.8
I discovered Rusty Lake games by chance when Samsara Room appeared somewhere in the indie games category screen. I thoroughly enjoyed how bizarre and unique it was so I played through most of the Cube Escape games before seeing Paradise. I completed it in one day and was completely enthralled the whole time. this game is absolutely worth the money you pay for it and totally different from other games offered on the app store.
