Love these games, but stick to you tube or something for walkthroughs. The link they provide in the game is loaded with pop ups etc that make it unuseable.

I bought it on sale for $0.09. so yeah absolutely worth it! Glib comment aside at 5 of 33 levels in, it's pretty straightforward and casual for anyone who has played the style of puzzle game before(think Myst light); and it was the perfect fodder for an airline flight when the Wi-Fi went down. It looks like there are many entries in this series this is my first time playing any of them.

Some of the puzzles are challenging enough that I have to look at the walkthrough often. There is so much mystery that keeps me continue playing. It would be nice if there is a way to keep track on the dates of the timeline in chronological order (so it will be easier to connect the narrative pieces) but that's just a minor issue.

I first played RL: Roots quite a few years ago. I just now played it through (including all extras) again, and it was still just as creepy to me. I love all the Rusty Lake games!

There seems to be some bug which prevents you from collecting Emma's tears during "the painting" level even though you actually press it. Thus blocking you from finishing the game. It's very annoying, doesn't seem to be addressed by the developers.

Great game, had a wild story to it and the puzzles were plenty hard. if you get stuck, they give a link to a walk-through under the settings. I would highly recommend this game and the series.

so far, this is the most interesting game that I've played. The whole story all linked together and at the point you thought "oh I finish it", there are more extra rounds ahead. Love it, highly recommend

Fun but short play time.puzzles were fun but should be longer adventure and searches.In all interesting but wouldn't give my recommendation to others to download for just a few hours to complete the game.If they like fast easy to complete games this would be the one.For kids it's a big NO.teen to adult a bit much for younger ones.ran smooth,no glitches big thumbs up on story,objective and animation of school style is refreshing.😎😊

"The past is not, it's not even the past" I think that I won't forget this game and other games from the series anytime soon. The storytelling is really smart and It makes you seek answers instead of spoonfeeding you. Puzzles are tricky and genuinely great. If you are looking for something interesting, rusty lake is a great choice. But I think I had a little bit too much of it. Thank you overall
