This is the perfect game. Been playing it for years. My kids play it now too. I wish you made more cool quirky beautiful self-contained games like this n
- architectofsleep · v1.1.14
This is a kids game. The mechanics of this game make me hate the simple rules and themes of solitaire. How you can make a game that ruins the classic rules is beyond me
- J3Carlisle · v1.1.14
This game is a hidden gem and the price is very fair. It’s just the right amount of fun, it’s hard sometimes but never too frustrating. The best part never knowing what spells, traits, and items will be available after each level. Finding all 4 skulls makes things exhilarating and is always what I’m searching for. It’s a very addictive game but easy to put down when needed also. I highly recommend it.
- Rob69169 · v1.1.14
Forgive me to all of this is brutal, but paying $3.99 for a mobile game is a decent amount. Being told right away to pay another .99 is ridiculous. It’s just the fact of the matter. Raise the price a dollar and make it all available. I’d pay 4.99 for app.
- Ismeon · v1.1.14
To this day the game is still unbeatable. There are no helpful microtransactions so idk why the dev made it literally impossible to beat. No matter what you do you WILL have one of the enemies end you against your control because you cannot survive their hit or get a single needed card before they destroy you.
- The Gremlin · v1.1.14
Less than 5 minutes after you BUY this game for $5 you will be asked to buy MORE. I just bought the game and don’t even know how to play yet, why am I being asked to buy new decks??? I really miss the days where a game was a one and done purchase, devs these days just want to milk you for every little cent.
- aye.ely · v1.1.14
Random random random. Not fun.
- Disappointed! So lame · v1.1.14
I don’t know what I was expecting when I downloaded this game, but I absolutely love it! Solitaire with a twist! I absolutely cackled when I got to the final boss for the first time, as the boss is the spiting image of the 2024 Nosferatu 😂 I REALLY hope ya’ll add more deck varieties and maybe a new adventure as well!!!
- Xelleron · v1.1.14
This is nothing like solitaire. I was expecting a fantasy rogue-like version of a great card game. Even if you think of it as an original game and not a solitaire spinoff the gameplay is so boring. There is practically no strategy at all. I think the devs know this which is why they don’t allow refunds.
- hehdbehdhehshev · v1.1.14
I love this game so much. It’s the perfect combo of strategy and chance. Please please please make more decks/levels!!!!
- Misslilly123486187199 · v1.1.14
How do you play this on larger devices, some people cannot hold devices in portrait like the iPads due to disabilities. Really want to play this but can’t…please support landscape mode for us with iPads. Also the game is shareable but not the IAP? Is that a bug?
- TK_200 · v1.1.14
The game is a ton of fun, and absolutely worth the money. But ngl I’m always so frustrated by having to tap twice to “break the seal “ on the rewards scrolls when one tap is enough for me to acknowledge the new information. I understand the playfulness that created this, but Tthe skeuomorph makes for bad Ux
- Seandmr · v1.1.14
It’s so artificially difficult, many games predestined for you to lose regardless of strategy. Don’t waste your time.
- williewonkerz · v1.1.14
Having beaten epic with every deck, it sometimes feels only slightly less fun to do a run. But still enjoyable. The game is perfectly balanced in my opinion and the expansion is totally worth getting
- owlcoholic · v1.1.14
Not only does this game have absolutely nothing to do with strategy of any kind as it is 100% reliant on RNG, the rest of the game is about as shallow as could be. The developers quote obviously only cared about making it look good. The graphics are fine. That is the only thing the game has going for it. You get next to no gold each turn to buy from the smallest pool spells and items I’ve ever seen. Half of the spells and items don’t help you in the game and another quarter of those spells and items are actually entirely useless. If you’re lucky enough to draw one of the few things that are decent, you probably won’t have enough gold to buy it. You also can’t sell things you’ve already bought, leaving you with an inventory full of useless garbage. Stay away, save your money for one of the countless better games on the iOS store. Dicey Dungeons has the same vibe as this and is exponentially more polished.
- An Uncommon Aura · v1.1.14
Because without paying your in for a world of hurt. The game is clearly thought out but that’s almost a problem. I have yet , after 74 runs to make it past the first two stacks of enemies. Good luck your going to need it. The abilities are poor, the monsters have overwhelming abilities some are allowed to change cards but your health pool is so small that’s guaranteed a death sentence. Irritating , agitating , obnoxious . But not fun.
- £.|€~¥{Corey · v1.1.14
I played tutorial, then normal but can’t get any of the other decks without buying. Playing the normal deck again resets all I spells and boost I purchased with won monies. It’s not fun to just start over again. It feels like I paid $4 to play one set over and over. Annoyed.
- CindyArnold · v1.1.14
Like I cannot even count how many times i have played this game and it’s really fun and addictive but honestly, it’s just a bit too hard
- Devlinn Dyartes · v1.1.14
I was very disappointed, once I unlocked a second class deck, to find that the game was pretty much the same as the initial deck. Sure, I have different starting spells, and my upgraded cards are slightly different, but everything else is exactly the same. Same enemies, same spells and items to buy. By the 5th or 6th enemy, you’re playing the same game over and over. If the different class decks had different spells available, I’d feel a lot better about recommending this game. As it is, there are better rogue lite games out there. Unless you’re a die hard solitaire fan, I’d skip this one.
- Liz959522 · v1.1.14
The artwork, the gameplay. I keep going back to it, years after I first played it. The kids now love it, too. I hope these developers are working on something else great.
- Moltiple · v1.1.14
I beat the game once all the way through. The game is too dependent on RNG. Even while fully upgraded I’ll often lose on the first or second boss without making any mistakes just because I can’t match any cards. Classes have minimal differences between them and runs feel the same.
- Twirling fern · v1.1.14
I’ve been playing this game on just about every plane ride since 2016. Fantastically great time waster, tons of interesting decks, and unique strategies just keep me coming back. Yes, it is slow at first. But once you unlock every class upgrade, the game really heats up, and I’ve just about gotten epic on every deck and 100% the game! Very fun, please make more Righteous Hammer!
- Jaaaxxx · v1.1.14
Great game that still isn’t hasn’t addressed issues with notch / safe area on iOS. Incredibly disappointing.
- Tapenade27 · v1.1.14
Super fun despite being an older game. Gives me a Cards of Terra vibe. Great design and atmosphere.
- Josh 0001 · v1.1.14
Overall this is a great game to play while you’re bored my only gripe with it is that I’ll have 2 or 3 options for combos and I’ll flip through 10 cars without a single number showing up that I can make a sequence with. This is especially evident when playing with the primal classes for whatever reason, but I seriously cannot even get past the 2nd enemy sometimes because of it. The randomization seems a bit skewed
- mehx fisivuwb fnc · v1.1.14
Some names get cut off at the top left and I can’t read it, otherwise great and fun app, just wished that was fixed, it’s been like that forever!
- publicworld · v1.1.14
One star due to the fact every time it launches it tries to get me to buy more decks. I just purchased the game and I don’t want to see this every single time. Will update fairing is this is changed.
- Otisdriftwood6 · v1.1.14
When I listen to a podcast I feel restless if I’m not doing anything else. Solitairica has been wonderfully soothing, and I have played away many delightful evenings to the background of dramatic actual plays and comedic good good people. The developer reached out to me the same day I sent him a picturing showing my 100% completion, even asked me about what I wanted to see in the second game. If you’re considering buying and you’re looking at reviews to get an idea, know that I’ve gotten my money’s worth and more.
- Mykel19xx · v1.1.14
I thoroughly enjoy this game. My boyfriend got me into it by streaming his gameplay on PC to me, then I downloaded it myself on mobile. I bought the last couple decks just to have the entire game like he does. That being said... I’ve gotten past Normal Mode on the Monk, Rogue, Bard, Barbarian, and Sorcerer decks. Each deck took days to complete, and I had to use different spells and items to finish each one. I get why people think that the game is unbeatable; it’s hard, and it actively works against you. However, I’d personally say that this makes me more encouraged to keep trying. One combination of items and spells didn’t work? Try again! See what works and what doesn’t. I will say this, though, because it is a personal grievance of mine against the game. Some items and spells stay in the marketplace for multiple levels, without me trying to hold them. It’s a 50/50 chance whether this hurts or helps me. I’ve had multiple runs end because my items and spells didn’t randomize in the shop again. Besides that, I love this game. I play it all the time. 5/5 stars.

Game stuck at loading screen, can't play anymore. Anyone else experience this?
- GigglingCat · v1.1.14
It’s a perfect way to relax and strategize. Please make for card packs and levels!
- Sandyjoys · v1.1.14
Very well-crafted game, but the RNG HATES YOU, unless it DOESN'T. There are absolutely unwinnable fights that pop up because they depend on blind luck that sometimes you don't have. Get it, it's awesome, but if you're me you're gonna get angry when it's not, and that "tee hee your heart's journey comes to an end" screen will feel infuriatingly long as you violently tap your screen to try again.
- TSAbshear · v1.1.14
Epic level is so epic you can pretty much never succeed and finish off a level. The normal levels are nicely challenging and I’ve finished every one but Epic Level is such a difficult one that I may delete the game...there’s just no chance to advance/win the level. I’ve been stuck on the first Epic Level for over a week without even getting close to Round 28. If you survive the first dozen or so rounds, right around Round 15 the cards that are dealt are always bad as well as having too many obstacles to overcome. When you get zapped for 10 hearts and shields in one flip of the card, there’s no way to have that defense to survive. If you do survive that flip of the card, the next one will wipe you out. There’s just no chance at all and that destroys the fun of the game. I don’t mind a challenge but when everything is pretty much un-winnable, it takes the fun out of trying to advance. Plus, on the Epic Level original points earned are 10 points lower at the start (20 base points instead of the 30 points found on the normal levels) so you get in a deficit right from the beginning without the ability to really earn points to get advantages for later in the Epic Level. You get lower points with the items to buy with your earned points stay the same. It’s quite disheartening and very frustrating that it takes about 30-45 minutes to get to about Round 15 (or so) to only lose all four hourglass tries in a matter of five minutes or less. Make it difficult, that’s fine, but don’t make it where you cannot have any chance to win levels.
- jeffreydkern · v1.1.14
Dude, I want to like this game more but it takes so long for every little animation- it’s seriously frustrating waiting for every card to flip, then you have to wait for the attack animation, then the resource animation... If you doubled (maybe even 2.5x?) the animation speed this would be playable, but the experience of battling is WAY too tedious. Anything that happens over and over again doesn’t need to take this long to resolve. Hope this gets fixed so I can dive deeper!
- Argle von Bargle · v1.1.14
Overall the game looks very polished and plays nicely. The gameplay is simple to learn and has depth to learning about compositions for combos. That being said, when I compare this to many other card style roguelikes, one thing I feel is missing is the option of choice. The enemies are always the same with modifiers that marginally change them. There’s no extra side events or diversity of enemies from what I’ve seen. Would love to see some development into the story path!
- GL1TCH3D · v1.1.14
It’s one thing to limit the powers or whatever for the “veteran” decks, but increasing the difficulty arbitrarily by giving useless top-decks over and over so you just die isn’t fun and I’m not sure I could do anything different to win. I’m well aware I’m a smooth-brained caveman, but eating it on round two because of unavoidable bad luck isn’t my fault.
- patterners · v1.1.14
I am enjoying this game very much. Thanks, devs!
- beefhaze · v1.1.14
I have had this game for two or three years now. In my opinion it is one of the best rogue likes on the App Store and, until Slay the Spire comes out, the best deck builder. The core gameplay/battle mechanic is incredibly satisfying, as is the fact that you unlock currency towards persistent upgrades each time you play. I wish this received more accolades a la Editors Choice. Was glad to see it on the “Best Solitaire like” games today.
- Tobiemilford · v1.1.14
I’ll start out by saying that I think this is a really well made game. The gameplay and progression are well designed, the graphics and sounds are nice, it’s got a solid amount of content included in the base game. All that said, after around 8-10 hours with it, I frequently find myself opening the game and immediately closing it again because I realize that I really just don’t want to play it. The core gameplay loop of playing solitaire over and over got stale for me really fast. Even with all the variety brought by optimizing the spells and items, I just don’t want to clear another row of cards. While my own interest in it fizzled in it quickly, I still think that Solitairica is worth giving a shot if you are a fan of solitaire and/or roguelike card games. The game was designed to be fun, not to manipulate you into buying gems or some other IAP bs, and I think for many people it will achieve that goal.

Please add support for iPhone 11 Pro, art doesn’t fully extend to screen edges and titles are cut off by the notch at the top.
- Repo2 · v1.1.14
nobody. and no strategy or unlocking will help. The developers might honestly be doing an experiment on game theory. The AI will read the deck and respond in any way possible to stop you from winning. You respawns and note the lack of attack so reduce attack options and all attack cards come up. Have a good run using buffs, three straight stuns to ensure no more buffs. Get towards the end and expect a 20 attack on first turn to end it. It’s evil and no people should ever listen to their family’s glowing reviews so they can run mind games. Apple should investigate and remove developer straight up. It’s messed up
- cdmphy · v1.1.14
I have been playing this game for a few years and a love it. Succeeding at this game requires a good combination of luck and skill, which makes it addictive. I wish they would continue to upgrade it. I’m not sure a full on Solitairica 2 is required. I’d love to see: 1) More levels 2) New/Different monsters 3) The ability to turn off or greatly shorten the intra-animations (so annoying to have to sit through and continually click click to get through them) 4) more slots for tools 5) the ability to keep buying hourglasses as long as you have the money or the wild stones. 6) some sort in info that explains exactly how the rewards work. I can’t figure out how much you get for a run that is X long vs Y long; is it cumulative? Aka the more runs you have, the more valuable they become? Anyway, they could keep this game going, if they kept adding levels and making enhancements.
- kstanley_thereal · v1.1.14
I’ll admit I like the game and I have played it quite a bit. The serious problem I have is, it literally is all RNG and getting stronger the more cards you unlock? Seriously? It should be more like the enemy gets stronger the more cards you unlock. Especially when the enemy is dropping poison on every card and you’re not drawing anything to remove it, or you’re drawing the same cards over and over and you have no plays, you sit there and hope you get lucky to draw into something to start a combo. I mean I’ve been spammed to death by the literally the first enemy because I couldn’t draw anything and he just nibbles me for 1 damage forever while I’m drawing dead cards. I think it needs some serious rebalancing with some things. I’m not complaining about difficult, but there is no strategy, it’s a pure luck RNG game. I’ll just go grind Mephisto for 10 hours on diablo II if I want to get RNG screwed.
- Fnljustice · v1.1.14

- Wendyhw111 · v1.1.14
Purchased the game and then found in game purchases available. Or very very slowly earn crystals. I wanted to like it. But you also have to pay to unlock a new set of decks available. For a free game I understand. But this game wasn’t free.
- Gothim99 · v1.1.14
Very addictive. Nice twist on Solitaire.
- M. Salvati · v1.1.14
Worst solitary game I’ve played. I know solitary is a game of luck but seriously? I mean having the enemy draw an attack card that drains 3 points of my 12 point energy 4 times in row, while I have to draw my own deck 5 times to get a card I can use to eliminate just ONE of my enemy’s cards? Really?! This game is impossible to win at the most basic level, even when you make purchases. Don’t waste your money or time. There are plenty better solitary games on iTunes (that don’t bunk you all the way back to the begging after one loss) then this.
- Jillianrockford · v1.1.14
It’s a really fun game and this is from somebody who didn’t know how to play solitaire. It’s basically one of the best Roguelite games on the market and I feel ashamed for sleeping on it until its recent price cut. My only gripe is that when I spent the 99cents to unlock the dlc characters I have to grind out 40 gems per character just to play each of the 4 classes I paid for. Other than that this is a fantastic title that anyone who enjoys these types of games must try.
- SleepingRabbit · v1.1.14
It’s nothing fancy but it’s fun.
- Enjoy128745 · v1.1.14
I can't even add up how much time I've spent playing this game. Beautifully polished. Really really fun. Yes, it's occasionally frustrating due to randomization of cards, but that's how solitaire is. All in all this game is amazing. I wish the developer would make another one with a different solitaire mechanic. Worth every penny.
