SPACEPLAN is an experimental piece of interaction based partly on a total misunderstanding of Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time. Use manual clicks and the passage of time to create and launch potato-based devices and probes from your nondescript satellite orbiting a mysterious planet. Unlock the mysteries of the galaxy or just kill some time in what the astrophysics community is calling the ‘best narrative sci-fi clicker game of all times’. FEATURES * Fifteen starchy items to unlock, create, and blast into the vacuum of space. * Life affirming, silly story that will both captivate and help you kill time. * Reveal the secrets of five different planets across two different realities. * Banging soundtrack, as is customary in a narrative sci-fi clicker game.

This new version of SPACEPLAN is a rebuild of the entire game from the ground up to bring it in line with current design standards and make maintenance easier to better future proof it for future devices. Key changes are— * Support for modern phone screens (full-screen and pixel density) as well as newer tech such as quality haptic feedback. * Facelift across UI design and art style to bring the game more in line with the original vision, while maintaining the feel of the original release. * A more efficient physics system to better handle more gravitational bodies at a lower cost, meaning better performance as gameplay progresses. * Broadly improved systems to make the game’s UI feel more responsive. * New music to further flesh out the much-loved OST by Logan Gabriel.

Would love to see another game like this, perhaps an continuation

Why? I’ll never know. SPACEPLAN made me feel like I did something. All I did I was play a game, but I was still a part of it all. You venture, you’re a passenger alongside a morally grey second party, all the while pressing buttons and laying foundations that will be forgotten. There’s a connection between the human soul and the underlying message of this game. It is only to be experienced, no words could portray the deep feeling that our subconscious gains from being a part of this small anecdote of space and time. Thank you to the Hollands for creating a moment in time where you had to be born to experience it here, and now. Be here now, infinity exists and you are the reality that draws the line between the objective and subjective.

I love the idea of a premium idle game and this game is certainly that but the execution leaves some to be desired. The game sacrifices some of the spectacle you’d expect in an idle game to create its story but doesn’t tell the story well with large spans of nothing followed by a large amount being thrown at you so fast you’ll miss it if you blink, the pacing is just non-existent. What results is a game that doesn’t really scratch either itch.
- Hwensta · v2.0.3
Fine for what it is but very short with no replay value.
- SOA316 · v2.0.3
Bought this game back in July 2017, a few months after the game launched. Loved every second of it, played more than 15 times. Came back in 2025 and it’s still a stellar game with a shiny new UI and more banger music. Very happy that the devs still care and try to improve. It looks amazing on iPhone 17 Pro. One thing I’d like to return to the old version is to keep our progress after we see the ending. Forcing to delete the progress to start over was heartbreaking. Was sad to see my 13 billion watts gone just like that, which I’ve stacked up over the years.

Just beat it moments ago. starts off like an interesting idler but evolves into so much more. Loved it
- rogereoger95 · v2.0.3
Great game with a really unique and fun storyline. I’ve played through it 5-6 times over the years and have never stopped enjoying it.
- Geospectre · v2.0.3
A clicker, a little story, a little goofy. A couple dollars well spent. Always a nice experience to pay for a little game and get to the “end” and feel satisfied. I feel like actual people developed this for others to enjoy and in here for it.
- Gary S.S. · v2.0.3
It’s exactly the type of game I love. It had a good pace and an entertaining story. There could have been more variability in play outcomes, but the story and changes kept it engaging. They style of it was great.
- RoFbRob · v2.0.3
Do you enjoy clickers? Do you hate the nickel and diming culture of clickers that dominates the current iOS landscape? Then go ahead and spend the money to get this game.

I’m just going to say I love this game. I’m fan. Don’t read anything just try it💛💛💛
- Tsapkin.a · v2.0.3
Can't recommend highly enough. Headphones are a must.
- o7o7o7o · v2.0.3
I loved it! I was looking for an idle clicker game and this was exactly what I was hoping for. The story and animations were delightful. The initial scaling up didn’t take too long, and if I had to complain about anything I would say that each time I reopened the game I actually had too much money to use. Lol
- HamFistedOaf · v2.0.3
The 2-3 hours of “content” they have is basically cookie clicker for dummies, then 2 days after downloading it and checking it once a day you get stuck on a 10 minute ending animation that they clearly spent more time on then the entire game
- Shdhrcnrckdchd · v2.0.3
Wanted to like this game but I beat it and it didn’t take long. Started off interesting and strong. But for $3? Not worth it.
- Chrono loving guy · v2.0.3
Amazing
- I like this game!13 · v2.0.3
WAY too short for 3$. i beat it in 2 days with maybe an hour each day getting on it
- Matthew Warnken · v2.0.3
Really cool, trippy idle game. I haven’t quite finished it yet, but I have loved every second. The art style in this game kinda reminds me of monument valley and I’m all for it. I am a huge fan of the snarky comments from the Word Outputter and just, overall have to say, great game man. Keep it up.
- Lens32 · v2.0.3
I think this should’ve been a free game because of the length, but if you don’t mind the price it’s a beautiful game. Well built and great story. Though I do wish it was longer. It took me about 2 days to complete. With about 2-3 hours of gameplay. Again a beautiful but short story. Do recommend if you don’t mind the price.
- All of the Ab0v · v2.0.3
I usually don’t write reviews, but in this case, this game was really good. It’s kind of like a mix between a idle sim game and a space story game it takes around I’d say five hours to complete. It’s really fun.
- Justinl2000 · v2.0.3
I love a good clicker game, and this is no exception. The music is great, the visuals are great, and the progression is natural and rewarding. My only complaint is it's not very replayable, and I finished it with about 2.5 active hours of screentime. That being said, this feels like a game I'd buy for $5 on steam so the price point still feels good for what it is.
- Sparkylie · v2.0.3
Out of all the “idle clicker” games (cookie clicker, adventure capitalist, etc.), this one is by far the coolest. It is evident that lots of care and attention to detail went into this game. Bravo!

- GIR01 · v2.0.3
Worth the money. Excellent art style, audio and incremental.
- mxmissile · v2.0.3
$2.99 and the game takes you all of two days to complete. Once you complete it, it makes you erase your data and play it over again, instead of letting you just keep going infinitely or giving you something else to do. And it doesn’t seem like the developers are planning on adding more to the game. There are better and longer incremental games that are free. Yes they might have micro transactions but those are always optional and you get to play a non-ending game without having to pay. To the developers: either make this quick mobile game free or add more actual content to it. Played. Completed. Uninstalled. Enjoy my three bucks.
- Zer0Yam · v2.0.3
Yeah it had an end but the end shouldn’t come a few days after buying the game. I’m so deep into kittens game but this one was lacking so much depth and progression. Wouldn’t buy again. Press back in your phone and look for another game. This isn’t the one.
- jerameez · v2.0.3
It was the most beautiful sight my eyes could lay on. The ending was perfect. I think this is one of the best idle clicker games because it has an end. price was definitely worth it 100% it is beautiful
- Your Stubbed Brokken Toe?? · v2.0.3
very fun
- pieromed · v2.0.3
I just wish it was longer
- Major Noku · v2.0.3
I like incremental games, like This one and Universal Paperclips. This one has fun graphics and a fun story, I just wish it was a little more replay-able or kept going somehow.
- FrankieRocket · v2.0.3
This was a blast to play through, just wish it had more layers of depth and prestige! Looking forward to any updates to it or future games of this style, we need more incremental games on iOS!
- Sudonymer · v2.0.3
yeah, it's basically just cookie clicker that you can play on ios, which isn't a bad thing, the gameplay is really seamless and clean which the swiping, sound effects and visuals are cool, if you like space and incremental games you'll love this
- Stryxo · v2.0.3
The 3$ price tag seems a bit high for the games length and depth. Easily beatable in a single afternoon without even active clicking
- LagOutDated · v2.0.3
I can’t remember how long ago I played this game but I’m ready to beat it again. Fifth play through let’s goooooooo
- -OBDK- · v2.0.3
Fun story, I loved how the gameplay changed but sad it ended so quickly. Once I realized I could change my iPad time I had it complete in 20 minutes.. but still worth it.
- Kingdom Chum · v2.0.3
Polished clicker than you can finish in few hours, or take your time for longer. No ads or spam, just awesome experience through it all
- rudi2389 · v2.0.3
Engaging, existential, great art style. Immerse yourself in the story and you will not be disappointed. Short and sweet. Solid experience 👍
- EthMickeyC · v2.0.3
It’s well made game. It’s a clicker game. But for a 3 dollar game I expected at least you have a endless mode after the main story ends. Even though the ending is creative, but to be honest, that ending was wayyyyyyyyyy to long.
- zhi 0 er · v2.0.2
First off, this isn’t really “a clicker”. Yes, there is a button you need to tap a bit at the start, but shortly thereafter, there’s seldom a need to do so again. I remember enjoying this silly thing years ago, and I just had a blast revisiting it. Still funny and fresh.
- martin doudoroff · v2.0.2
I enjoyed this, well designed, and well written. Only take a few hours to finish it, not sure it’s worth the price
- rbwalch · v2.0.1
Game is ok. It’s not good.
- johnny1084 · v2.0.1
From the art style to the jokes to the story, all of this game was incredibly well done, and then they rebuilt the game, making it even more amazing and jaw-dropping. I played the game years ago and enjoyed it but after a while it got boring. I came back to it today and saw the new update and said “hey why not” so I redownloaded the game and played for probably two hours straight. Every moment was something new, the developments were well timed and the incremental portion was well balanced. By the time I finished the game I thought ‘what a wonderful way to close’ this games last scene was absolutely mesmerizing and I enjoyed every bit, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to anyone. There was a bug I encountered sometimes where after I delved into Saturn I could not see the word outputter’s updates, it was stuck on something along the lines of “hey there’s alternate reality us” and did not update further. Another bug I encountered was that if there was an animation going on and I was switching screens between the word outputter and the planet looker or system peeker I could not see it when I went back to the planet looker or system peeker, this happened mostly late game. Sorry I wrote an entire essay but I had to get all my thoughts out, this is one of my first reviews on this app for good reason, nothing compares.
- Refr1135 · v2.0.1
Felt a bit misled by the app description. This is a quick little game, fun narrative but completed in a couple of hours of semi-active play. I completed the game in an afternoon.
- sbre83 · v2.0.0
Just curious if we could have a feature to lower the size of the font text! I loved the smaller font from the original update!
- ItsZacNotZach · v2.0.0
I don’t regret buying this game. It’s eaten time in a pleasant way. 2-3 days of sporadic play, and some replay value.
- ClericalMango · v1.0.04
It was super fun and was super disappointed by its short length and kinda expected more but still I good game make it longer and Ill think 5 star
- NotNotWeston · v1.0.04
I bought this as it was recommended in many areas as a good idle and incremental game. I though I’d be enjoying this for months and years especially since it costs money. Little did I know it would take me about 3-4 days to BEAT It so I either restart or replay the ending? Other than that, the very short story was pretty cool
- EveryNicknameIsTaken2211 · v1.0.04
Hello all! Just wanted to write this review because of my long term adoration for this game. I’ve replayed it multiple times and still enjoy the relaxing unique story based idle game that it is!
- Bmw425 · v1.0.04
Fun & has character. I’ve played it a few times over the years.
- Piecemeal · v1.0.04
Short game that was free before but now charges money for no extra content. I feel scammed.
