good peaceful building toy. fun to play with, tho I got bored pretty quickly because there's no goal–hence “toy” vs “game”– but that's just me. you might like it. it's very pretty and the little worlds you can make are charming. it's cozy.

Really fun game! I've played for two hours already and I love it. The problems are mostly just annoyances. There's a lot of room for improvement, but nothing that is wrong or bad. I wish you could generate a world/save that was completely paved instead of just water I wish there were more styles and more colors for the buildings. At some point they all start looking really similar. And sometimes it's really hard to connect islands with paths because the grid isn't made up of standard squares.

It's a relaxing game, though there's not as much variety as I would like. The touch controls also don't completely work; I can't 'very' long press to change color. The fun is mostly about the architecture; you have little control over how the buildings/decor looks. It's fun to build multi-layer crazy buildings, and there are different interactions between blocks. What is there is *really* great which is why I rated it a 4, but if it were even slightly less enjoyable it would probably be a 1.

Played this years ago & was extatic to find again in Google play family list. Super relaxing & easy to play once you learn the different touch controls. I do wish there were people&more animals, there used to be people walking around, playing in the beach, walking their dogs, coming& going from their houses and boats cruising within your town! Just an idea! That'd be pretty cool to see again! It would add just a bit more joy to my ocean city💜💜

this 5 star review is actually 3 stars but I put it at 5 so people can actually see it and not have to dig past all the 5 star bot reviews. Game if you can call it that is just a quick 5 min of tapping and putting down 15 different colors to build a town if you could call it that the size of a village if there were npc in the "game" it would fit like 20 people.

I love Townscaper and spend a lot of time building towns. One thing I'd love to see added is little people walking around, sitting on benches, standing on docks, and living in the towns we create. I think it would make the towns feel much more alive and add even more value to an already great game.

I once downloaded this game at 2022 and had to re-install this game on 2023. The fences, flags, trees and bushes don't appear anymore. I don't really know why it's happening, maybe some error or bug? I have purchased this game, is it possible that purchased app also has updates? Was a cozy game indeed, after all. Edit: I have tried to reach the developer for supports but there are no responds at all. I don't know what else I can do so now I have not downloading it again. Really disappointed :((

Really cute and really cozy game but the limited map size makes it really biting very quickly since you are very limited in designing some cool and big cities. You can do lots of little projects but thst gets repetitive quickly. I would like the option to expand the grid much further if the device can handle it and / or make some optimisations so not all blocks are loaded all the time but being able to continue endlessly! That way you can always continue and improve the one city.

It’s not that I’m unhappy with it, but I think it would be really nice if the town had villagers actually living in it—like some walking around, some just hanging out sitting or standing, a few chatting, someone peeking out the window, maybe even someone reading a newspaper. I would live to give this 5 stars but it has 2 big issues. on some maps the height of buildings can go very high but it's not he same in every map. Thats terrible. Second, the grid does not allow you to make big rectangular buildings or arc based ones - that's very disturbing for neurodivergent builders like myself.

This is a great relaxing game that I could play for hours every day. I wish there was a way to have different grid patterns though e.g. squares and circles as the one is unpredictable.I also wish there were different building designs and a way to add my own little details (trees, bushes, bins etc) it would be cool to see boats in the water if I built a certain thing that resembles a harbour and have wooden docks to build out to the water. I would like to see people walk around as well as farm.

Love this game!!! They're right, it's a toy more than a game, and it really is worth the price. Something relaxing and creative, this is exactly the game I was looking for! I feel so inspired by all the possibilities. The art style is perfect for a building game like that, there is so much potential here.
