game relies too much on rng now. whether its gacha or game play, to play the most difficult modes you need to be able to dodge, have the right characters from the beginning, pull the right characters, everything relies ong RNG now. it doesnt feel like a puzzle game anymore cause you can do everything right but still get 1 shot, i hate this dodge or die mechanic its not fun especially in longer modes you spend 30 mins on a stage and then that 30% chance you dont dodge you die.

I appreciate Dokkan Battle! It certainly has come a long way. I still enjoy playing it daily since 2015; I highly recommend this if you like collecting cards and like the dragon ball anime a lot. it can get very grindy and theyll be banners that'll drop where spending for the cards you want becomes a thought but you can enjoy being F2P far a LONG time if you spend your stones wisely. This is definitely a wonderful game to try out!! Cant wait for Moro and Granola alongside new forms 😎🤙🏾

As a DOKKANER for 10+ years I say: pros are visuals & animations, content and events, fun, offline only combat, very solid F2P experience, huge roster, frequent celebrations and free rewards, easy to hard content is all optional. cons consist of RNG-heavy summons. Power creep makes old units useless (until Eza), UI and systems bloat, grind gets repetitive over time, banner structure feels outdated, limited pity system, inventory & menu management can be a chore, and meta favors new units.
