I’m giving this game five stars because it really is the best Music Rhythm game I’ve ever played, however.
The shop is expensive. I will admit that the prices have gone down SIGNIFICANTLY since the game was released. But there are 26 expansions that cost $3.99 and 12 expansions that cost $7.99.
That’s a grand total of $199.62
They also have some songs stuck behind subscriptions with a basic plan at $3.99 or platinum plan at $7.99, but I think the subscriptions are fine and worth it.
However with all of these expansions I think it would be great if there were a bundle, or multiple bundles, where we could buy the expansions at a discounted cost.
A music game of great quality. Really worth trying!
I’m willing to keep playing and consuming in it.
What’s more, I’ve been craving for a new chapter of main story for years.

Really good with a few misses
Pros: Great gameplay but there are strict flick notes which take time to get used to. Art style is unique and makes the game stand out. Story is basic, but the artwork holds it up. Tons of content at about <$1 USD per song. There’s also a subscription service which is nice to try out, but is expensive in the long run. Cons: The menus are tedious to go through. The highest difficulty is locked at first and requires either grinding boring lower difficulties or paying money to unlock it which is really disappointing. Starlight score is stupid and should be removed. Events are a complete grind fest and and lock limited time songs behind a paywall. Limited time songs shouldn’t even exist; let people buy them after the event ends!
You owe me 3 starlight score and 1000 stabilized sound.
I was trying to starting grinding through the event just for the game to kick me out when I started the song and take away my starlight score. You do not deserve 5 stars until you fix your game. This is so frustrating
Im not one to write detailed reviews; the levels are nice, the easy difficulties are beginner friendly, and the hard levels and challenging in a good way, i think its cool how you have to tap the notes in a circle. The story is nice to follow too. I haven’t gotten very far in this game nor am I rhythm game pro, but overall i like it

First Rhythm Game I Fell In Love!
I played this game on my android device and I was so addicted to it and it was the first rhythm game I fell in love with! I’m happily to say I’ve switched to my new iPad Pro and Noxy Games is still on the roll!

Very Predatory
Ive played this game since Chapter 5 came out, so a good couple of years. i dumped a fair amount of money in this game, the subscription, a couple of packs, the whole usual consumer thing.
Recently they started doing the events thing with locked songs and event songs, etc. and i though, “might as well give it a go, see how things are.” and ive come to find out that the two featured sonfs #1f1e33 - Camellia, and Aegleseeker - Silentroom vs. Frums. are not only locked behind a paywall thats 4 dollars, the challenge song is nigh impossible to get without spending money on it.
I expected better from Noxy, i felt they were doing better with chapter 6 and 7, but this is very predatory, i spent 3 and a half hours doing 15 tiles worth of challenge and 15 missions to unlock Aegleseeker, and it was STILL locked behind a paywall. Thats like 45 songs i had to play to get there. and for what, 4 dollars for two songs?
Not worth it. Theyre very greedy and youre better off playing other rhythm games.

Favorite Rhythm Game
I have purchased music packages on my Android phone, but I am willing to pay for them in iOS store again. The game contains the most impressive beatmap I have ever seen, and the music is wonderful as well.

Its good but flick notes are the downsides for me and having a massive amount of songs locked behind a paywall is a turn off for me but the gameplay is pretty good and the charts are good

Can Someone PLEASE tell me what’s going on?
I don’t know what’s happening, but as soon as I opened up my game, there was a man crying for help over the in-game music. I tried restarting the app, but when I got back in, there was a woman’s voice instead. I don’t know what’s going on, but if you could get someone to look into it, it would be greatly appreciated.

maybe add something
i love this game. it’s my favorite game to play and it’s very enjoyable! however, i would like a “favorite” system? specifically for the subscription chapter infinity, but maybe throughout the entire game. it’s not easy to find songs you like unless you know how far down you have to scroll to find them. i would love to be able to favorite songs and to be able to sort them by songs you favorited.

Purchases that doesn’t appear
I really enjoyed this game all the way back in 2017, and I remember how fun and challenging it was! Though, since I’ve switched to IOS from my android, all my payments for this game is lost, and I tried linking the same accounts. Which I did successfully, however the data wasn’t there with my payments, just my progress in the story. Could you please help me retrieve my purchases back?

Literally spent hours on this masterpiece
Such a great game the music is great the mechanics are great the way it functions is awesome the menus are nice it has a great theme I wish I could give 6 stars because it’s amazing. The story is beautiful and it’s worth the 1.99 100% unless you don’t like Ruth games but otherwise this is one of the best rhythm games on the market

I am in LOVE with this game, first of all. The design is great, the gameplay is awesome, and it’s just a great game all around. However, I would like to add themes to the game as well as make charts and publish them online, just like Geometry Dash.

The best rhythm game on mobile
Huge track list with an amazing variety of song genres, no mobile game fluff (like stamina, tedious unlock methods, etc), all with a unique and pleasing aesthetic for a rhythm game. What more could you ask for?

Change Daily song system
I love everything about this game, like the story and characters, like the gameplay and difficulty, I’ve unlocked master on every single song except for the last one in stage 4. But I need you to change the daily song system. I don’t care that it’s random, that’s what I expected and there are no issues. Definitely don’t mind that you need to see an ad to play it. That makes sense. But please let me choose my difficulty. I understand if I cannot get master difficulty but if I get whisper difficulty every time then I’m not going to use it. If I want to just listen to the song I’d look it up on YouTube!

New Daily Song System is Idiotic
I love this game, but most of the songs have become boring after playing them all the time. I don’t have the money to constantly buy the new packs, and I thought this new Daily Song system sounded awesome! I get to play new songs all the time now! I usually only play a little each day, so it’ll be great for me, right?
Oh, so wrong.
You see, you get five chances every day. Firstly, the song you get is random. You don’t have any control over what song you play. That wouldn’t be so bad, even though you have to watch an ad beforehand, if it weren’t for the second problem. You don’t even get to choose the difficulty. WHY?! What is there to gain by preventing your players from choosing the diff? It says a “random difficulty”, but I got Whisper, the easiest one, all five times. As an experienced player, it was so boring I quit every time trying to get ONE harder song, and never did. Also, if it is truly random, imagine the opposite problem. A new player keeps getting hard songs, gets intimidated and never buys any of them. Or worse, they never play again.
I’d like to say I appreciate the IDEA. I think a daily song is great, and hey, if I like a map enough I might just consider buying it. But as it stands, being unable to see what I’m buying makes me very apprehensive, and this new Daily Song system does not alleviate my worries in the slightest.

Really hard, but that makes it really good
I love the dynamic circular playing field - it is one of the more satisfying setups I’ve come across. The story is lackluster, but I’m here for the gameplay so I’m not bothered. Let me say this, though - this is one ridiculously hard game if played on the master difficulty. Personally I love this, but new players should definitely not expect to reach the level 12 - plus charts until they have been playing rhythm games for a good while.
I do like that the devs seem to be catering to all skill levels, so all of the maniacs like me have more than 1-2 charts to play. Good job on that!

I can't buy side stories.
Love the main game, but it won't let me. Buy the side stories, if any developer reads this please fix it.
Edit: after all of the updates. There are way to many dlc’s to purchase. I understood when there were only two or three, but now so many in app purchases it feels like they’re putting profit over playing. When the game came out years ago I was impressed by how much the game gave you for a one time purchase, but now it feels like they’re putting profit first. I had to lower my rating by two stars to three because of this.
Edit: I thought about it for a while and I understand how much it must cost to both create music and remix music from others. It’s not the developers fault that music costs a lot. Still, try to put out story chapters more often in updates, because when your dlc is almost twice as large as your main series game, it doesn’t inspire much confidence for new players.

Fantastic Rhythm Game
The game is beautifully illustrated and game play is well thought out with a few unique twist than other ring based rhythm games. Ultra and master lvls are challenging without feeling impossible. The story is simple, but cute if that sort of thing interest you. I love the mix of Celtic, EDM, and Dubstep. Though I think the initial 3 chapters has a few too many slower to my liking, but I get why they choose such a playlist to start. Great value for the number for songs included with the price tag.
The map/menu/UX could use a little tweaking in my opinion. For like a day and a half I was upset that $2 only gave me 4 songs and they were pressuring me for expansions $4 each (5 songs each). Once I figured out the chapter/map thing I found there were a number of songs just waiting for my tap-itchy fingers. If a map is cleared and the next is unlocked just give me a button on the main map to go to the next area instead of backing out to the book menu > map > and then selecting a chapter. Also an option to view all unlocked songs to select and play would be nice, other than using the menu to select a chapter then selecting a song.
